Is this product removable? I want to use it in my classroom.

Yes. it is easily removable although I have it on the side of my file cabinet. I have not yet tried it on my painted wall. It wipes off nicely too. Doesn't leave a shadow of what was written like some boards do.

I'm thinking of getting this and putting it up in the shower to write down my shower thoughts. Has anyone done this? Do you think it would work?

Yes, just like everyone else said. You are reinventing the wheel :)... No need to apply a wall over the wall. Shower tiled wall is already perfect writing surface because it is permanent, durable, does not wear down and off, and is easily washable and cleanable and such and does not show wear and tear if written on million times. THINK OF YOUR SHOWER WALLS AS READY AND PERFECT WRITTING WHITE BOARD AS IS AND NO NEED FOR FURTHER SURFACES TO COVER IT IN ORDER TO WRITE ON IT. So having said that and I did not shout L( all caps meant to be visible and readable easy for anyone who is searching for similar solutions and kind of as a title of what follows here): So.. 1. You have a shower with tiles. 2. Tiles are easy to write on. 3. Tiles are easy to clean., you have to clean them anyway right? Writing or not. 4. To write on tiled surface you need markers, chalk or any writing devices that cooperate on such surfaces and they are endless.. from chalk to special chalk to glass markers (as the ones for wine bottles and such) and anything that writes on glass and or clear surface and.. IS WASHABLE!!! so anything within those lines will let you have a go at your shower inspired thoughts and pouring them on the wall (pun intended) :) So.. how do do that? Let me equip you with the step by step roadmap to success: 1. I would start with usual cleaning of the bathroom walls but it is not required as most of the writing devices will write over a sleeping dog if you won't move it .. So.. clean, don't clean.. depending how much of soap scam and grease from your body is already on the said walls. you can always run a small test and see if your device writes, if it does, you are good, if not try it on clean surface of your wall way off the heavy water traffic and soap splash area and see how it performs there. If it does you know all you need to do. 2. Write on the wall. 3. Take pics of just enjoy the writings as long as you want. Most of the water proof washable otherwise with other solutions writing will last you a while. 4. Wash it out. When you will be buying your device keep in mind how long and what manner of washing you would like to utilize and what is your desire of the writing permanency = if you intend to keep your writings on the shower walls eternally I suggest to get a time machine, go back to the ancient Egypt times and bring back one of them stone cutters and have your writing permanently etched into the tiles = If the above is bit overkill then decide on other levels of your time connondrum. = if you want something that will wash itself with the next shower search for things that write on the hard surface AND are WASHABLE with just water. = If you want the writings to last few showers or many showers look for things that require some special solutions to clean but won't bend to water damage. Can anyone recommend chalk markers that erase well from this? The Kozandrew Glow Chalk markers leave a slight "ghost" when I erase on this.
