This is a nice set of candles. They are fairly small but they are strongly scented and seem fairly priced. I've purchased far more expensive candles that don't have the intensity or throw that these have. They are well made and the wax seems to be of good quality. I received the two-pack and each candle is eight ounces and the wax is contained in an amber jar with a black metal twist off lid. I prefer candles with lids to keep the fragrance in and the dust out when they are not being burned, so that was a nice feature. One of the candles is Eucalyptus & Orange and the other is Bergamot & Jasmine. I wasn't too sure about the scent combinations, but they actually smell very nice, if a bit heavy. I prefer the eucalyptus and orange, but fragrance is very subjective and maybe it is just me, but the bergamot and jasmine seemed a bit cloying. Maybe it would be better in warmer weather. Both candles fill the room nicely, but the scent doesn't travel through the entire house, which is a good thing. I didn't find either of the scents to be overwhelmingly. The candles burn cleanly and seem to be quite long-burning. They arrived very nicely packed in a sturdy box nestled in heavy foam cut-outs. The box has a lift off top and would have been perfect for gifting except for one thing...someone at Amazon decided it was a good idea to plaster a big shipping label right on the gift box and it is almost impossible to get off. Since the box was not inside of another box or even a mailer during shipping, it arrived dented and damaged. These candles were just for household use, but I would have been disappointed if I had planned to give these as a gift. The price was $17.99 at the time I placed my order, which seems reasonable for two single wick candles of this quality.

I got these for a friend’s birthday and she LOVES them. One was burning at her house last night and the smell is noticeable but not overpowering. These candles are attractive and easy to leave out because of the simple design of the jar. They burn clean. No black smoke. They do also burn evenly when burned correctly. They smell exactly like what they’re supposed to. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the jasmine. It’s a little too sweet and floral for me. My friend didn’t love it either but her boyfriend does (and he loves jasmine, he actually grows the vines) so I think it’s just a personal preference thing. These come in a nice presentation box and the candles are presented top up. So when you open the box, you are looking at the candle lids and surrounding foam, not the front/label of the candles. That doesn’t bother me but it’s something I would like to know. These made a great gift and they’re good candles.Please hit the button if this info was helpful.

I got these for my home, but they'd also make a lovely gift for a variety of occasions.The scents are light and fresh, without being overpowering. The combination of florals is nice, and the 'fresh linen' scented one is very refreshing.Using them in combination is also nice, and the scents don't compete with each other. Rather, they compliment each other nicely.Quality soy way, and quality cotton wicks.The translucent jars also provide a warm diffused glow, and overall they burn slowly and cleanly.This is a very pretty set of four, and for gifting, there's enough space in the box (and under the canisters) to include and over-wrap of tissue paper for an extra touch of elegance.I'm very pleased with these, and I'd be thrilled if I received them as a gift.

My wife discouraged me from getting these, she hates lavender...but like in many things I did just go ahead and disregarded her advice and put in my order. Unlike many things though going against her advice this time paid off handsomely. My wife didn't even complain about the smell and when I asked her she actually admitted she liked it. She was shocked it was lavender but did admit she loved the smell, after a bit of questioning of course. The candles in this set are a fantastic gift set for anyone, especially the candle lover in your life (remember it's not just women who enjoy candles folks!)

The scents of each of the candles in this set is absolutely wonderful. Packed in a pretty box and the candles themselves also look very good for display. They are not very big but not tiny either so you may also split the pack and use each candle individually for making up gift sets.* PROS *- nice box for giving as a gift- lovely aromas- great selection- glass jars with lids- can be split for individual smaller gifts- soy and aromatherapy oils* CONS *- none I can find for the qualityI hope you find this review helpful

I was a little worried when I ordered these candles because I wasn’t sure I would like the smell. But both the candles have a great smell and it truly reminds me of being in a spa. The smell is very relaxing. These candles would also make a beautiful gift. They are in a very pretty box and the candles are sitting in a nice foam holder inside the box so you don’t have to worry about them breaking.

Love the scents of these candles! Very relaxing and soothing. The scent is light and floats nicely in a room and is not overwhelming. The jars are nice too and the candles came well packaged in a thick gift box and the jars were nestled in foam. They arrived with no damage to them. These would make a very nice gift but I am keeping mine.
