If only the noob farmer knew the full impact his little farming village has made in this fantasy world of magic and monsters.Multiple animes were launched alongside this one, centered around a slow paced, gentle content, and theme of farming/food. This one appears to be the more popular anime amongst its competitors. Be aware that farming is not as easy as anime likes to portray it to be. It’s a committed lifestyle, filled with hard labor and a fairly high chance of failure. The existence of magic in this story simply negates what most farmers have to endure to ensure a healthy crop each year.The story does something uniquely satisfying in its progression. What I mean by that is when the protagonist accomplishes something, its not ‘okay, now forget that and move on to the next thing,’ it’s a compound series of accomplishments. Example: building a house, working around that house, and later building a better house.I don’t know if there is a second season planned for this franchise at the time of this review. So dude gets reincarnated... not as a hero destined for perilous adventure and glory... as a farmer... yeah you heard me.Okay so basically God felt bad he was delt such a poor hand in his first life that he gives him a wish for his second. As in, what would like in your next life. When he says I'd like to try farming God shakes his head and sends him on his way...with an OP Devine object dubbed the Almighty Farming Tool. A shape shifting all purpose implement that not only allows him to work without tiring (or seeds for that matter) but also keeps him safe in one of the most dangerous forests on his new world. But it's so OP he doesn't even notice. But everyone else does (epically those of the opposite sex.) They can't help but to take notice. And so harem happens and he lives happily ever after.Seriously that's more or less the story. But it's one of those slow paced heart warming story's that beautifully blends fantasy adventure tropea with slice of life. Each episode explores a new facet of a village being born and focuses on the important things that bring people together. The comedy is born from the fact that he has no idea how strong this farming impliment makes him; as in the dragons and demon lord both a litterly shaking in their boots at the new "super power" nation state now occupying the forest of death. The heart warming comes from the tender relationships that are blossoming. And the intrigue comes from the faithfully detailed and accurate descriptions of building recipes from scratch. (Like I need to grow rice to make this scratch). If slice of life anime leaves a smile on your face then Farming Life in Another World is for you. If harem is your thing, then Fawning Over the OP Farmer is still for you...

If you are looking for a happy and funny little tale, this may be the story for you!A guy dies in one life and when given the chance at a new life, he mainly just wants to be left alone and to try his hand at farming!So... "God" drops him in the middle of a forest with a divine universal tool/weapon...A forest of Death!Certain creatures take a liking to him which compounds other creatures liking, or fearing, him!Ultimately, if you are looking for a funny little story with very little death and carnage, you might like this one!

This is an amazing English dub anime. It's chill with a little bit of action and a great story in my opinion. Very little questionable topics being spoken about haha but overall an amazing anime. I've seen it five times now

As you can tell from the pictures. I got thus season of the show. But sadly I got two dads of episodes 1-9. The dvd of episodes 10-12, was nowhere to be found. The is is definitely a loss of $50. But for the episodes I could watch it was a good show.

Came in on time but be careful about ordering anime sometimes, you might get one that has two of the same discs in it

It has it all dragons elves beastman angels vampires and demons what more can you ssk for By the way they are livening together in a place called forest of the dead and all females except for 1 man . It's one those fun one's i watch over & over nice story nice one to kick back to after a stressful day. Farming is fun drinking and eating good food is a must. Watch it you won't be disappointed !

Im not much into anime but my husband is. He had me watch this with him. Had me lsughing and actually enjoying it. Highly recommend!
