Good but could be better
Easy to use and logs dives accurately. I gave it 4 stars because the band is SO large even tightened on the smallest spot. I have normal wrists (I guess?) but still really large and turns a lot.

Good starter or backup Dive Computer
Simple, easy to use dive computer. Not a lot of extra features, but got this as my starter and will plan to transition to my backup if i get a fancer teric or garmen someday (or give this to one of my kids).

great computer until it stopped working
I love this computer until it stopped working with no reason. It was working great last time I used it, but with this covid pandemic I didn’t use it for 3 years and was properly stored at home. I changed the battery myself (as I always do because the model is prepared for battery change by user) but this time makes beeps and the screen looks dead. No sign of corrosion inside. After a web research I found that a lot of people have same problem with this model (beeps and dead screen after not using it for more than a year). I contact Cressi and they immediately contact me with support. I will update once I get it fixed but customer service worked great so far.

Large numerals make recognizing your status very easy.
There are quite a few unhappy folks regarding battery change concerns. It's possible some of these came from "over tightening" the battery cover or getting silicone grease from 0 ring onto battery contacts.I had no concerns at all, reset the clock/time of day which was on Central time after Cozumel. Set the SF (Safety Factor) to 1 from a 2, since 2 was ending the dive a bit early, which is totally appropriate; I'm going with setting 1 for next dives. The Leonardo's features are completely fine for all but extra-technical diving. (I have been PADI instructor since 1987) .. It handles Nitrox gas users easily, and the user handbook makes it clear to keep the 1.4 setting for all but extreme enhanced oxygen users in the 36 to 40 (02) range. I printed a full 87 page copy of the user book online and have it in a clear binder for easy reference. Recently I had to replace the clear plastic outer cover ($10.00 at Amazon and elsewhere)...inadvertently while I was using an aerosol sunscreen, some spray went down my arm and fogged the screen thru its small ports. It was still barely ok to use and the fog was not clearing up after soapy soaking, easy fix to pop off and pop on a new cover.Truthfully I cannot imagine paying many more hundreds of dollars for another brand. If you're looking for large easy to read numerals, water temp, max depth, No Decomp. time remaining, alerts for safety stop in minutes and feet, plus decompression dive details if you overstay your limits, this works beautifully.GBC

Good beginners Dive watch
I bought this about a year ago so I've had some time to play around with it as a casual dive computer for rec trips. I've used a bunch of borrowed computers Suunto etc and I'm transitioning to the Shearwater likely in the next month. There's things that are definitely good/bad about this dive computer depending on your level of experience.ProsEasy to use, large button easy to read. The large button is easy to use and the display is not hard to read. The beeping is loud and clear underwater. The manual is adequate and it has all the baseline things you need as a beginner recreational diver without over complicating it. Super easy to look up info for your dive log.ConsNot the ideal computer for divers who plan to dive more than once every couple of years. Their no decomposition limits are laughably conservative. I think I was doing a rec dive down in Cozumel last year and the alarm went off at 30 something minutes at 60 ft and then almost immediately on my follow up 30 ft dive. It was so annoying I ended up borrowing a computer for the rest of the week. Also that button. God help you if you overshoot because you have to start at the beginning.

300 buceos y corriendo

Discreto
Computer senza infamia e senza lode. Indicato per coloro che sono alle prime armi. Molto, forse troppo conservativo. I tre minuti di tappa li devo contare da me in quanto non ho trovato il countdown.
