Great puzzle but pricey
This was a lot of fun. My 14 year-old and I worked on this here and there for a couple of days. I love how logical everything is; no need to guess on any part. Also the movement of the puzzle elements is smooth, and nothing gets stuck. It isn't always super obvious what's going to fall off when you solve something, so twice we temporarily lost pieces to our couch. We were able to reset the puzzle to give to a friend, which (for me) justifies the cost. That is the biggest negative to these types of puzzles. I wish the price point would come down. If it wasn't for a Black Friday deal, I probably would never have bought it. It is a little anticlimactic when you finish. There's a space inside where you can fit something (ping pong ball max - not shaped right for a gift card), so if you give it to someone else, that would make it cooler for him at least. When it opened, we both looked at each other like, "That was it?" So Manufacturer, maybe a congratulatory note or something would be nice.

The Philosopher’s Stone
Great puzzle box. I hope Puzzle Potato continues making more. Looking forward to the Houdini puzzle box. This particular puzzle was entertaining. Had to write down notes to help figure out some parts. The last step I figured out in error but ended up resetting it and figuring out the logic. All around great puzzle and worth the money.

Great puzzle box
Not too difficult and pretty interesting. Much better quality than the idventure puzzle boxes. Had so many issue with this boxes, but this one was good quality. Wish it was more difficult tho

Puzzle me this
This was a very challenging puzzle as I had to use the hints all along the way. I’m not a clever individual so I had to use the hints. It’s sturdy wood and I don’t fear any breakage.

not for me
We bought this to give to our kid. We wanted to put money in the center so when they opened it - surprise - a treasure. I finally got it open but couldn't reclose it. We gave it to our kid and I apologized for not being able to close it. They just laughed. It was hard to do. I don't want to do other puzzles like this personally, but it was a quality product.

Updated..I wanted to love it...
On initial inspection of this puzzle; it looks well made and pretty advanced in it's concepts. This is the 5th puzzle box I've tried but first from this company. I couldn't get the first piece off. I tried it exactly as the (ambiguous) hints tell me. Then I tried watching all videos available and even watched the reconstruct video (ugh.. spoilers!!) And I set mine up EXACTLY as they all said... however, the piece will not release. It feels as though I'm going to break it if I keep pulling. I'm incredibly disappointed. I even returned the first and ordered a second thinking it was a one-off issue - but no.. the second is the exact same issue. I've tried contacting the company and have gotten no reply. Edited to add - the company finally got back with me and realized they had added an additional step that wasn't in the original videos. They have added a new solving video and this additional step to the hints page. After seeing this - I completed the rest with ease. Although it was a disappointing start; it was still a well thought out puzzle and one that I hope Puzzle Potato will continue to create more like.

not worth it
Only ~3 puzzles. Not worth it. difficulty is rated 3/5, it's easier than that. It's pretty, but consideringthe other puzzles, disappointing. Get NEMO instead. Do not recommend
