The rubber feet came off my new laptop. i threw them out, not knowing what they were for. I soon realized from research that the rubber feet are there to release most of the laptop's heat from the bottom vents. They also grip the surface your laptop is on. I looked, and the rubber feet would have run me $50 to $125 or more. I thought, screw that, i'll DIY it for a hell of a lot less. I got the stock rubber, and I cut the rubber and gorilla glued it to my laptop. I have a kind of gorilla glue called Gorilla glue gel. it sets in about 5-10 minutes. Anyway, the rubber isn't the cleanest project i've ever done, but the rubber I put on there has A LOT of grip for this. I turned my laptop stand (With the laptop on it) to about a 45 degree downward angle. the laptop didn't even slide or budge. Fantastic product, worked amazingly for what i needed. 5 stars. rubber works better than what was on the laptop originally. Also, for those complaining about the scent, it is rubber! it smells like fresh tires! I, for one, enjoy the smell, but it does go away.

I installed this rubber strip on the door that encloses the engine compartment of our rough terrain forklift. It is one of those doors that goes over the engine compartment and lifts from horizontal to vertical in order to access the engine. When closed, there was a 1/2" gap between the door (or hood if you prefer) and the chassis. I used self tapping screws and went through the rubber into the hood and secured it into place. I did this 6 weeks ago and barely a drop of rain gets through now.This is good rubber that is not either too soft nor too hard. It is just the right consistency at 1/8" for the job it was intended. This is a good product and I would buy it again.

I used this to cover the cracks in my chicken coop nesting doors on top. Works perfect. No rain has penetrated the nesting boxes and is holding up great in the sun. very good quality.

This is a great rubber backing to use on vinyl Chess mats. It not only lessens the thumping sound of pieces landing on the mat, but also keeps the mat from moving accidentally when sliding the pieces. And, although it’s a little stiffer, it is still easy to roll up for storage or travel. It would have been prefect if they made this material in the size of 24” x 24” x 1/16" square, but using this 12” x 48” x 1/16" works as well.After cutting it in half, I attached the two rubber backings to the back of my vinyl Chess mat as shown using Flex Shot Silicone Rubber and a plastic spatula to spread it around evenly. Then, I allowed the rubber sealant to cure for a full 24 hours where I then used an X-Acto knife to trim the excess rubber at the edges of the mat. Clean up is a little bit of work, but produces great results afterward.

Sorry, but I get a kick out of people that complain about the odor. It's rubber, folks! It smells like a truck load of fresh tires! It's NOT Potpourri. If it smelled pleasant, It wouldn't be good rubber, and I wouldn't be using it for projects that I need RUBBER to complete.The roll is true to size - 2" wide by 1/8" thick by 10' long. I needed it to make 2" OD X 1 3/16" ID X 1/8" thick rubber washers on a project and it was perfect for my application.The material is dense and has no voids. Perfect for making spacers / washers.It's non-skid, non-marring and exactly as described.

Good flexibilty, yet stiff enough.I had to double the thickness using a special glue. That created a strong chemical bond. The material is relatively easy to cut with a sharp blade.

Worked well for what I had to fix with.

I just had to cut them to length. The with was fine. just punched a hole in them for the bold to pass through

I was planning on using this product to trim the edges of a Miele dishwasher to cover the grey gaskets along the sides, so they wouldn't stand out so much. The rubber was cut so roughly that there was a frayed edge along both sides for the entire length. It doesn't look anything like the well cut images on the page. Back it goes.
