Quality, quality, quality
This is a great item, the variable speed control lets you cut even the hardest metals with ease. The LED is very bright and a very nice touch since the saw often blocks the light from your cutting path. The cutting table is a good size and made of solid steel allowing you to securely press agaisnt the metal to make a fine cut. The saw is surprisingly quiet, ergonomically comfortable to use despite the weight and the rubber end-bumpers help protect it during use and storage. This is the same saw as the one sold in the kit, only the case is not included, if you plan to use this often, just setup a mount on a stud and hang it for easy accessibility. Once you get one of these, you might as well throw out your old hacksaw. Like most of my other Dewalt tools, I'm sure this will provide years and years of reliable use.

Good tool with faulty tires
Like every Dewalt tool I own, this is rugged, powerful, and well designed. Makes nice square cuts on large pipes up to 4.75",, This thing is rugged and pretty indestructible. I own at least 25 Dewalt power tools and it is always my preferred brand. However, the rubber tires on the DWM120 are problematic. About once a year, the rubber tires meltdown and make a horrible mess. I live in Florida, and the tool rides around in my work trailer (which reaches temperatures of 100°+ in the summer). For whatever reason, the heat turns the rubber into a gooey, mess. I don't really mind replacing the tire at $13 per pair, but the mess easily takes 3-4 hours to clean up and requires complete disassembly of the pulleys, guide bearings, and all parts of the rotating blade assembly. I then have to soak the parts, including the blade, in a solvent and wire-brush the gooey rubber residue to remove it all before replacing the tire. It's tedious and aggravating. I use the tool once or twice a year, and it seems that every time I need it, the tires are destroyed. I submitted a claim to Dewalt and they simply referred me to an authorized service center. Although I appreciate that they were willing to look at it, that doesn't solve the recurring problem. They really need to try synthetic rubber or polyurethane for the tires. But since they won't talk to you about the problem, I'm sure they'll never change it. I figure it costs me over $100 in lost time and materials to get it back in service each time. I'm currently experimenting with a Porter Cable tire that incidentally is an exact fit. We'll see if theirs hold up in the heat.

This thing is pretty great
This was recommended to me by some professionals because the green one that I had, which is named after a bear, fell apart and they refused to help me even though the thing was new... Luckily, this thing is way better built and it's way less of a pain to change the blade.

I am extremely pleased with this saw
The DWM 120 was purchased to replace a less expensive import I had been using. I am a partner in a small manufacturing company that fabricates custom metal parts. I was able to make a fixture that turned it into a bench mount saw which is perfect for our purposes. I need accurately angled cuts and the import saw was somewhat hit or miss on the precision due to its largly plastic construction. The quality of the Dewalt saw's construction is excellent. With the exception of the rubber bumpers, it is all metal. The metal construction and design provided perfectly positioned hard points for attaching the bench top mount. I have used it for about three weeks now and the cuts are consistently accurate. This saw is a keeper.

Could not be better. Excellent product.
we bought this because we had lots of metal fencing to take down and it was all 4 inch metal tubing for posts and runners. this thing buzzed right through all of them and in three days, i think we ruined one blade. it was like cutting butter. I researched this before buying and friends who had bought another major brand were sorry.
