Worth the price, quality photographs.
Wonderful book, price is justified with interesting interviews/memories of Horikazu but also the many many photographs extensively researching the clients and the work. Full quality printed page photos, body suits and up close shots with a section for each model. This is a gem in my irezumi/Japanese tattooing collection, and no collection is complete without it.

Amazing, beautiful book
A fantastic book - as the other reviewer mentions, it's a big, coffee-table-type volume with plenty of glorious, high-quality, full-page photographs showing whole tattoos from a variety of angles as well as details, too. If I were to make one small negative observation I would say that the design of the book means that even on full-page pictures the very bottom of the image is hidden behind a thin 'band' showing the chapter heading (generally the name of the client who's tattoos are displayed). Though it's a very small negative, it does impact on how the reader views the tattoos. Getting rid of this band would have certainly helped the reader enjoy the pictures even more. All in all a really wonderful book - well worth buying - for the serious Japanese tattoo enthusiast.
