If I could rate this book one million stars I would! Next to the Bible this is my go to book! Florence Shinn was waaay ahead of her time as far as the so called law of attraction is concerned. She has a way with words and wisdom that draws the reader in and makes otherwise complicated subjects such as health, wealth, life and manifestation, very easy to understand. The confessions (affirmations) are simple yet powerful and easy to incorporate into the heart of the reader, especially when done on a consistent basis. I find that repeating them out loud is much more powerful. With that being said, this book has been life changing for me. It truly is a priceless gem!

In an interview Louise Hay credited the book "The Game of Life and How to Play It" by Florence Scovel Shinn as her initial inspiration for her own work and her book "You Can Heal Your Life", so I ordered this, since Louise Hay's work has helped me a lot. This is a great book, a collection of all Florence Scovel Shinn's writings, including some she never published. Very interesting to see how these concepts were framed in the 1920's, etc. Still inspiring today. The book production quality is excellent, without the typos so often found in this sort of reissuance of an older work.

I really like this book. A lot of books on manifestation are very masculine and I think this one adds a nice spiritual and emotional aspect. I love that it's 100 years old and still so relevant. I resonate with her affirmations. After I started reading this, a book company accidentally sent me a book by Bob Proctor called "Born Rich" and I definitely took that as a sign that I'm on the right track!

I am so glad that I made the decision to purchase this book. Im only on chapter 2, but it has already helped me so much. The text is easy to follow and read, with no errors, concise, and straight to the point. I like how there are personal scenarios and examples of how being mindful of the present moment can offer hope to a positive future. Im looking forward to reading this book and applying what I've learned.

These are the kinds of teaching we need to give to our children from the early age. There’s so much knowledge that we as children miss out on and waste so much of our valuable time in schools learning stuff we neither care about nor would ever use in real life. Ditch the education system, homeschool your kids and teach your kids about these Universal Laws of Life laid out so simply by artists like Florence!!!

This book for me is about your timing of your life. I have believed a lot in my self in my life and worked very hard to go forward in it. A time has come we’re it didn’t work any more and I asked were do I go from here? This was put in front of me. It takes a lot to have faith and I am blessed.

Amazing books! We are so lucky to have these available to us. Thank you Florance. I bought one if her books in 2013 and could never get into it. Donated the book. And I was ready for it this year. Some people may be turned off by the bible quotes, and they are overwhelming at first, but i found them to be helpful many of times to bring more clarity through their examples. After a while I got used to them and let go of my resistance, and received😊. Every day before I go to sleep, I say hello to Florance and the book, express gratitude and ask what I need to expand tonight and what will contribute? I always open it “randomly” and always read what I require clarity about… without a fail. The book is getting colorful highlights, as I find it is easier to go straight to the lines that jumped at me when I first read them.
