Zero brain cells required…it just works.
Open package, put in some batteries and go. It’s that easy and worked instantly. Is the quality feel the same as the original no, is it half the price, yes, does it work better the piece of garbage original I keep replacing for double then price…yes. A Good buy. 15 mins after getting it off my doorstep the functionality is great and the original is tossed in the trash. Cheers

Gets the Job Done as Advertised
Works as advertised replacing a lost remote for an old Panasonic Sound System. Also used it for the TV the sound system is supporting. As others have said, you must hit the TV button to control TV. If you want to control in my case the sound system, I have to hit the Audio button to switch the remote over. For me this is is a big deal. Was very easy to set up!

Solid 4¾ 🌟
First off its a great simple remote. I like how robust it feels, more durable. It's a little slimmer than some other replacement remotes are. The shortcut buttons are awesome, all but one of them. The Disney button does not work. But that's OK in the larger overall assessment of the remote. I would give the product a solid 4¾ 🌟 stars.I'm sure the reason the Disney button does work is whatever OS it's using.

Decent Replacement Remote
It’s a good replacement remote for our Samsung TV. Definitely feels cheaper than the factory supplied one. The quick access button for Disney + doesn’t work on our TV, but the Netflix and Hulu function properly. Not bad for the price.

Very pleased so far
I purchased this because the Samsung remote that came with the TV I purchased recently is just awful--very laggy delays when buttons are pushed, small buttons, difficult to find certain features, etc. This universal remote had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I have no complaints so far. The responsiveness when I push the buttons is 100 times better than the remote that came with the television--no delay and no need to push a button multiple times like I have to do with the original remote. The buttons are a "normal" size so it's easy to find things, and the features are easier to find as well. This is the first day I'm using it, but I hope it continues to work as well as it works now.

A Tale of Mixed Impressions
My experience with the Universal Replacement Remote for Samsung TV has been a blend of both satisfaction and frustration, and here's my perspective on the highs and lows:Ease of Pairing Delight (4/5): Initially, the ease with which I paired this remote with my Samsung TV brought a sense of relief. The process was straightforward, and I appreciated the simplicity in setting it up.Affordability Charm (4/5): The affordability of this replacement remote is undoubtedly one of its strongest points. It didn't break the bank, offering a cost-effective solution to my need for a replacement.Unresponsive Blues (2/5): Unfortunately, the honeymoon phase was short-lived. The responsiveness of the remote has been a significant source of disappointment. It often feels sluggish, with delayed reactions to button presses, leaving me frustrated during my TV navigation.Connectivity Quirks (2/5): Connecting to my Samsung TV is an exercise in patience. The lag in connectivity has been a consistent issue, and it's disheartening to wait for the remote to catch up with my commands.Mixed Bag of Button Woes (3/5): The buttons on the remote are hit or miss. While some work flawlessly, there are instances where certain buttons seem unresponsive. It adds an unpredictable element to the overall usability.Quality and Performance Ambivalence (3/5): The overall quality and performance of the remote leave me in a state of ambivalence. While it serves its purpose at a basic level, the inconsistency in button functionality and delayed responses tarnish the overall experience.Ease of Use Contrast (2/5): In contrast to other customers' experiences, I find the ease of use lacking. The operational hiccups overshadow the initial simplicity, making the overall user experience less enjoyable. In conclusion, the Universal Replacement Remote for Samsung TV has its merits in affordability and easy setup, but its struggles with responsiveness and connectivity have overshadowed the positive aspects. While it may work well for some, my personal journey with this remote has been a mixed bag of highs and lows. Here's to hoping for improvements in future iterations, balancing cost-effectiveness with enhanced performance.

Happy Happy Happy
Saved a ton of money compared to OED remote (which stopped working after a year). I opened this remote, placed batteries inside, turned it toward the TV and... it worked. It just worked. No codes to enter, no waiting, nothing weird. It was refreshingly simple.

Universal TV Remote
The remote was packaged nicely & was high quality. It had a nice weight & feel, not flimsy at all. The buttons were also easy to read. I had purchased it to replace a lost Hisense sounbar controller. Unfortunately it did not work on that device so I returned it. But it did pair well with 2 Vizio TVs & I may purchase this remote again to use with the TVs instead.
