I've always enjoyed the occasional puzzle, but COVID 19 really upped my puzzle participation. I usually do 750-1000 piece puzzles but I was gifted the Hartmaze Colorful Wwl in December and actually pulled it out to do a second time (which I never do) because in addition to how lovely it is, the "feel" of it is so satisfying. The way these thick, wooden pieces fit together is fantastic. I usually pass on puzzles to others, but I will definitely be keeping this one for another round down the line.I liked it so much that I ordered another wooden puzzle (from a different company) and I must say, it was not the same as Hartmaze AT ALL. The pieces didn't really click together, it was hard to keep it in formation. I highly recommend Hartmaze wooden puzzles.

This puzzle is everything I hoped for a more. The picture on the website doesn't do it justice. Colors are bright. The sample is really small. I printed a copy of the puzzle from the Amazon website and that made it easier to work with. This puzzle is not easy, but the reward is well worth the effort. I really liked the puzzle. But all things considered, I don't think I would buy another puzzle of this type. The wooden pieces are not easy to work with. The puzzle is very loose while working on it as well as when it is completed. But once you have the pieces together, they don't want to come apart and that's bad news if you make a mistake.

It was with fear and trepidation that I started this puzzle because of the comments on missing pieces...what a horrible experience it would be with a puzzle of this type to be missing pieces. However, all the pieces were there for mine and if I had been assured they were all in the box, I would have enjoyed putting it together much more. But all the time I was working on it, I was ' sure' there were pieces missing. So it did take some of the joy away from the effort. I gave it a 4 star for just that reason. Next time I work it, I will enjoy it much more as I KNOW all the pieces are there. To me, nothing worse that having a beautiful puzzle and have even one piece missing.

Neat little puzzle!Bear in mind that this puzzle is relatively small. With that said, the unconventional shape still offers a fair challenge - but experienced puzzle afficionados will likely finish it somewhat quickly.The colors are bright and vibrant, pieces are thick, and the cuts are smooth.Don't expect the same refinement you might find in some of the 'big names' in wooden jigsaw puzzles, but it is a nice puzzle nonetheless.Given the low price and relatively small size, this puzzle would be a great candidate to pick up for a fun puzzle one evening while having a few drinks and watching your favorite Hallmark Christmas movies. Finish up and pass it on to a friend.

This fun puzzle is worth spending some time on. It is made of wood pieces, brightly colored, and fitting together nicely. The challenge is that the puzzle is not rectangular nor round, but is the shape shown in the picture. I would buy more of this type of puzzle, mainly because of the entertainment value.Here is a hint, if you want it (if you don't, stop reading here:)I started with the branch and worked up and down, this gave me a way to start putting the pieces together. Also it is necessary to place each piece straight down since there is no "give" in the pieces as there are in cardboard pieces.

I was excited when I got this puzzle! I enjoy the unique shaped pieces and was able to put it together in a couple of days (only worked on it a couple of hours each day). I loved how it looked when it was completed. I agree with other reviews regarding "burnt" pieces. Not sure if it's because the puzzle is actual wood and it's from cutting the pieces but it doesn't take away from the beauty of it. When I was done, I immediately looked online for more like it but wasn't successful. All of my pieces were there so I fortunately didn't experience what others did regarding missing pieces.

Unique, beautiful finished piece. Love the shapes of the pieces are all different and makes it more challenging than traditional pieces. I worked this with my 10 year old daughter and took us a few sessions after dinner each night to finish. She wants to get glue and keep it because it looks so nice at the end. I had all the pieces and the quality is great. I plan to look for more animals and birds to order in these puzzles.

I enjoyed the puzzle, it was relaxing to work, however if you are an avid puzzler it is not much of a challenge.One area of the puzzle was not cut properly - there were a couple of pieces with the top layer of the piece still attached where it needed to be placed. I had to operate in order to get the piece to fit.Looked like the picture when completed. It is a good size for a small table.
