TLDR: Works as intended, 70% charge out the box, I also use it plugged into the power brick almost 100% of the time so the battery is more of a backup for me as it is almost never used.Back story:Back in 2014 I bought a GT60 Dominator Pro, I have been using the same battery for just under 8 years, when I unplugged the power cable the battery was no longer able to power all components, the screen would flicker, I would experience intense throttling and below 95% battery the screen would not turn on. Ordered this battery, the packaging looked like it wouldn't fit however it was double boxed and had additional padding so the packaging was deceiving but it worked! It came with a 70% charge, no screen flickering anymore. I use this almost exclusively on the charger so I anticipate this battery will last me long enough to buy a new laptop (maybe when the Nvidia 4000 series GPU's come out? I've been saying that since the 1000 series lol). Either way it works as intended, I am happy with it. Also picked up a backup power brick as those tend to burn out after 2-3 years for me.

Earlier in the summer of 2018, I decided to fix up my old MSI GX70-3be laptop. The battery had failed several years earlier, but I was always too lazy to buy a new one. After searching on amazon, I found this replacement and purchased it. I have used it for about two months without any issues. It does seem to hold a charge and fit into the laptop without any problems. Overall, I am happy with this particular purchase. Please keep in mind, that I have only used it for two or so months. A real test of the battery would be about a year into its service life. [Although I am very pleased with the battery, do not get me started with the laptop manufacturer/cpu/gpu manufacturers--eh, video driver issues for win10...]

At first I thought this battery doesn't work that well, but I stand corrected. Using my big gaming laptop, I can get about 3 or 4 hours of solid editing (Adobe applications and music / beat apps). The most important thing is that Windows actually warns me 30 minutes or so before the battery is depleted, so I have ample time to save all of my work and shut down or plug in.

I bought this battery to replace one that I've had for years but finally was unable to hold the tiniest of charges. This one, so far, works fantastically. It charges 5 times faster than the old one and holds the charge for days if I don't use it for a while. The best thing is I got it with free shipping and it still arrived 2nd day (only because I live 120 miles from where it ships from).

I received my laptop second hand from my son. For whatever reason, there was no battery, so I've spent the last year having to be tethered to a wall socket when I wanted to use my laptop. Now that I'm working at home as well as helping my school-aged children with distance learning, I wanted to be able to move from inside to outside on the fly so I could monitor outside play without having to power down, unplug, plug in, power back up.The battery I ordered to help me with this works perfectly for my MSI GT70. I got it within a day of ordering, which was much faster than I anticipated, obviously. And the price was very competitive. However, the battery life is horrible. Even using the battery saver function on my laptop, I only get, at most, 2 hours of battery life before I absolutely have to plug in again. And this is not resource-intensive stuff. I'm not trying to watch videos or play video games. I'm just doing basic web-based work checking emails, etc.TL;DR: The price was right, it got here quickly, and it works for my laptop model. However, the battery life leaves much to be desired.

I have an MSI GT70 that has been a workhorse for me. The battery was getting bad so I researched a new one. I was very glad to see that these batteries were under $100. I ended up getting this one even though it was $10 more than the cheaper ones. This one simply had better reviews. It came in one day and works great so far. No problems.

Great direct replacement. Battery life is great considering its for my gaming laptop.
