There is no steering wheel so maneuvering may require alternating right and left turns with forward and backing up.Thoughtfully they have provided two rechargeable batteries for the bus so one can always have power to play. These batteries charge via a USB plug to a charger you provide. The controller takes two AA cells which you must provide. These likely last much longer than the bus batteries so rechargeable are not necessary.The bus will not drive until you push the starter. Realistic motor sound is made and it’s funny, sometimes it does not start on the first try, authentic. There are lights inside, headlights, a horn button and a button for automatic operation in which the bus executes a driving routine all by itself. Hours of challenging, great fun at a reasonable price. The value is good given the entertainment is high.
