Woodworm 12ft / 3.65m Heavy Duty Metal Goal Post and Net – For Home and Clubs

This was purchased for my 10 year old son who wanted a REAL goal. Not a TOY one.This is really good quality, very easy to assemble and looks very professional.the net was a little tricky, not difficult just took a bit of time, but it looks great in the garden and he loves belting out the goals.

A slightly odd size compared to 'standard' 12 x 6' (7-a-side) goals.These are 11'6" x 6'3" or 12' x 6'6" depending on whether you measure to the inside or outside of the posts.They look to be excellent quality and if they don't rust then I would think they will last a long time and be an excellent buy.You do need to be able to leave them in situ or have a very big shed as they wont come apart easily or fold away.No more saggy cross bar and goals blowing away in the wind I hope.Easy to assemble as well - took about an hour.Most of that was taken threading the string to hold the net on which attaches behind the posts which I much prefer to being hooked over and around the posts as with most plastic goals I have seen.The boys are delighted and (therefore) so am I.

This is an awesome goal. Glad we went for a substantial metal one over the plastic- and wasn’t much more expensive. Rebounds off the post are nice and solid, and it won’t blow over in the wind (just withstood 60mph winds without any bother, and having a tree that did blow down, land on part of it without any damage).However, as one reviewer mentioned, our red tabs on the net were in the wrong corners which led to much head scratching and frustration when assembling as we had to reverse what the instructions said once I gave up trying to fit it the way round it should have gone.

This is THE BEST goal you can buy, especially at that this price. Strong METAL goal with a proper decent net, which doesn’t wrap under the frame, so it’s easy to move on the lawn and the net also doesn’t rot on wet grass in winter. This is my second purchase (we left the last one at the old house) and our first once spent years outside in all weather. It’s a proper solid decent goal that you can pound footballs at all day!! Don’t buy any other goal!!! 10/10

Excellent delivery and excellent product. Easy to put up and very solid and nets are well designed and very good quality, these will not rip as they are designed to take a hit and kill the speed of the ball. If I had a bigger garden I would buy another for sure. These are the best you can get just do it you wont regret it.

One post was scraped also the circular connected tube was damaged.(Shaped like rugby ball so would not connect to next post. Delivery time was excellent.

Easy to assemble especially as all parts had a sticker on them to help identify. The goals seem very sturdy but a big tip is when fitting the net, ignore the instructions which seem to be incorrect. The ted tags should placed at either end of the crossbar and NOT at the ground bar as per the instructions

I am sure that this would have been good had they had it in stock, which is annoying
