Great Heater! Kept my engine warm enough to start easy on cold mornings.
I mounted this on my car engine's oil pan. I did what others suggested and sealed the edges with high temp silicone. So far it has worked great for one winter. It only got down to 0° F this winter, but we had no problem. The car started easy and warmed up much faster than it would without this heater attached. It was kind of a bitch running the wire up to where I could connect it to a power cord, but that's to be expected with a front wheel drive vehicle with everything crammed into the engine compartment.

Works well and heats up quickly.
For only 50 Watts, this small pad heats up quickly and quite warm. I'm warming a 2x2 foot battery box I built to house my Lifepo4 battery and it can only be charged at temps above 32F. I'm using this heater with a Thermocube which turns on at 35F and turns off at 45F and a small 6" x 2 ft long piece of metal flashing to act as a heat sink. It works flawlessly. And takes only about 10 minutes to heat up the box to the point the Thermocube shuts off. I use this to power all my Astro photography gear including 2 cameras, two focusers, my Power distribution box and my mount. Thought I might need two heaters but this looks like it's going to work. Does well down to 14F so far. We'll see when it's -5F and see if she still performs. ;o)

Actually draws 25w, works exactly as advertized
These were relatively inexpensive and I picked them up to use on larger metal items in the shop to discourage condensation (seems to be working very well so far). I've metered them and they actually draw the advertized 25w (wasn't sure they would be properly-made given the affordable price) and the backing pad sticks extremely well to a clean surface. I'll be picking up more of these for use in various places. They're very handy especially when paired with a thermostat or PID controller.

Would Not Stick on Engine oil Pan
Warmed my engine cleaning pan very well and tried to apply the ABN pad but it would not stick. Must have been a bad batch. I purchased another brand in the past and had no issues but it was time to replace due to being old and weather beaten. I will not buy another from this brand

Great product
Great product. Fit well. Strong adhesive. Works as intended. We’ll see how it does this winter.

Throws off a lot of heat.
Purchased this product to heat the oil pan in a generator installed in a steel cabinet outside my house here in the northeast, where temperatures are often in the teens and sometimes lower. It throws off a lot of heat! I want this product to last numerous seasons, so it is still too early to comment on that. The adhesive on one side of the pad didn’t adhere well to the metal bracket I placed it on, so I augmented it with epoxy glue and also some metal bars and galvanized wire to ensure that it didn’t fall off. Again, time will tell, but the product looks like it will be very effective. I also wrapped electrical tape around where the wires join the pad, to prevent the heat from melting the insulation around the wires, which happened with a previous, much thinner pad.

low quality cord
The pad gets very hot. Nothing on the pad says what the wattage is for this one. Also, the cord seems very cheap and low quality rubber insulation. Gets hot near the pad. I am concerned the cord could deteriorate and melt.
