This is a pretty good value for all you get. Not only do you get the basket and the sponge replacements along with the A/B nutrient bottles, but you get a few seeds of some great foods with it including some dwarf pea plants that I've already sprouted. That was pretty surprising and I'm looking forward to some peas. I'm doing peppers and tiny Tim tomatoes in another hydroponic system so it makes sense we should be able to do peas if they're a short variety. We'll see how that goes.The main issue that I have is that the sponges are much thinner than what's pictured. I'm new to hydroponics so I don't even know if that matters, but these do leave a little gap in the basket, which could lead to more evaporation when you take the little dome out. Also, I love that I got a dwarf pea but I can't even find that on product description.All in all, this is a great kit that will keep you growing with your hydroponics kit—whether it's the LYKO one or something else.

There weren’t clear directions provided. I don’t k ow how many seeds to use. Not sure if this will be successful but will update after a few weeks.

They are a perfect match for aerogarden or other grow sponge inserts! In the first photo, I THINK the one on the left is this brand and the one on the right is aerogarden official brand. But I could be wrong, and you know what? That's a good thing because they are identical in all the ways I can detect.I have a new-to-me sawdeny garden with square shaped growing insert cages and an original aerogarden with round cages. These fit just fine in either one! I had no luck with these vegetable seeds at all. My hydroponic gardne holds 12 pods. I got this kit of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers from this seller and also got 6 from aerogarden. The Areogarden ones came up within about 10 days. These seeds did nothing....going back to aerogarden

Also has shorter 5 month stability once opened, limiting utility if unable to use full bottles in time. Once mix best kept at dry and dark place to prevent fungus growing.
