Works like a charm
I'm currently holding about 20lbs on this thing and it doesn't budge at all.

Works for me
I bought to take to my art shows where space is tight. Light weight, easy to transport. If you need something with stronger legs, this isn't for you. Totally works for me

Both sturdy and lightweight
The fact this is sturdy AND lightweight makes this ideal for art fairs! I am super stoked to have this in preparation for doing art fairs again next year. It's extremely attractive and professional looking and folds up easily. Which makes it easy to carry. I found it pretty easy to assemble.

Very useful in my daughter’s art studio
This has been very helpful for holding my daughter’s paintings while they dry. It’s easily portable and takes up very little space when collapsed, due to its slim profile. You could also use it for displaying paintings as well.

A 4- or 5-star stand with a major flaw
Having decided to offer prints for the first time this coming art show season, I ordered this simple, elegant stand the moment I saw it.I want to love this stand - and at first blush, it has everything I'm looking for. It is lightweight yet sturdy; It has a simple metal scissor frame in a matt black finish and a black canvas cradle to hold all the prints; It is set at an ideal height for my liking and it has a generous capacity (I imagine it will easily hold 25-30 matted prints). The rubber feet should help give it a long life as well and the hardware is robust. All that said, there is one deal-breaking flaw that I simply cannot get past. The way the leg extensions are engineered (poorly), you cannot fully close the unit once assembled due to the enormous bolt/wingnut configuration that joins the legs to the upper section. As I show in the photos, I even tried flipping the direction of the bolts in opposite directions from what is indicated on the instruction sheet, but even there, the bolt heads were enough to interfere with the closing of the unit. This was an elementary engineering problem that could have been easily overcome by any first-year product design/engineering student - simply stagger the placement of the bolts so they could comfortably pass each other when the unit is folded.Yes, I can disassemble and reassemble the unit each time I do a show, but that rather defeats the purpose of a foldable unit. I can simply warm up to the idea that the unit will never fully close and I know that constant rubbing of the bolts/wingnuts on the scissor frame will scratch off the surface within a few shows. I may use black twist ties as a discreet workaround, but it's just such a shame that the manufacturer didn't figure out a simple solution on their end.Although I will try to work with it for my own display (and, if I end up selling prints long term, will likely replace this stand at some point), I cannot in good conscience recommend this product.

Too big for my space.
Nice rack but it did not fit my space. Constructed well.

Sturdy, Well-made, Easy to assemble
The rack came well-boxed and the two leg assemblies were individually wrapped to prevent damage. The assembly instructions were pretty clear but a careful look at the blown-up illustration is helpful in understanding how the legs fit together. (Note that there actually two leg assemblies and not one as stated in the parts list.) Assembly took maybe five minutes and required no tools. The rack itself is very well-built and sturdy and should stand up to serious use. The metal parts are powder-coated and should maintain an attractive appearance. The fabric sling is made of a heavy material and is solidly stitched.Right now I have eight stretched canvases on the rack in my studio so there is plenty of capacity for prints when art fair season rolls around.
