Sturdy, easy to install, shelving is a bonus, adds a nice pop of color
We live in an apartment and don't have a garage or good outside space for bikes. This is hanging in my son's room. I bought this rack over others because it looked more sturdy and heavy duty and it is sturdy. My boyfriend said it was pretty easy to install. The orange color is a nice pop against all the black and gray in my son's room (the orange thing on top of the shelf in the picture is my son's speed cube case. He put it there because the orange on the case matchesthe orange on the shelf).

Excellent product and good alternative.
This is my second one being purchased and it’s such a better alternative to a stasdock. Cheaper and just as durable. The inclusion of the cross bars is important as other products won’t hit both studs 16 inches apart. I do with the area for top tube to hang would be more than just some plastic, maybe a thin layer of some rubber or felt would be good. I added a thin layer of grip shelf liner and it’s good now.

Solid and Secure
I went back and forth on a shelf-style rack for my bike. My one negative is that the channel the bike is cradled in is hard plastic, which is better than the metal. I assumed it was felt-lined or soft grippy rubber. I have stuck soft-touch material in the grove to prevent scratching my bike. This was built of high-quality, sturdy materials. It was wide enough to drill into the 16-on-center studs, giving me peace of mind that my bike and the shelf weren’t going to fall. This was the deciding factor to go with Mount-it. Very happy and it matched my bike color. 👍
