Georgia Approves!!!
This litter box is great! I was worried that our small kitten would not be able to jump into but she adapted so quickly and it has been easy to use. The lid catches most of the litter that sticks to her paws so the mess on the floor is GREATLY reduced. It is easy to clean, does not leak, and the large size is great. The quality is amazing and I like that it looks nice and not like a regular litter box. Photo of Miss Georgia because she approves!

I’ve Bought Four — Looks Great and very sturdy
This is the fourth one I’ve bought — some for myself and some for family — and every single one has been consistent. It looks really nice compared to most litter boxes and blends in well with the home instead of standing out. The material feels sturdy and holds up well with daily use, and the lid fits securely. It’s easy to clean, keeps odors down, and doesn’t feel cheap at all. For the price, the quality is excellent. Definitely recommend if you want something functional that also looks good. I also got rid of my automatic letter. It cannot compete with this when it comes to managing smell and overall cleanliness

Litter-ly a Good Box
It's been cat tested .. and then tested ... and then ... oh my gawd what did you EAT? Tested. It works. My cats are all tall to mid-lard sized little heifers. I was having issues with 2 of them - Sammi the Weasel likes to stick her butt out the front of the box and pee all over the floor. Yoda Boda likes to dig a hole to China then scratch the walls down to fill said hole in (this goes on FOREVER) all while making sure everything in 20 foot radius is equally covered in litter for good measure, then he plunks his butt down right in the center to pee before bolting out like lightning just smacked him which serves his nefarious purpose of making litter trails across the entire house as he completely avoids touching down on the litter mats. Pepper Spray can contain herself and her bizniz to a box but she dislikes the openness of regular ones ... however she's a wee bit umm, FAT, for a regular hooded box. I checked out the expensive pet stores (you know the ones!) and they did not have anything that would meet all 3 of my precious sugar woogums cow sized elimination habits. Then I ordered Iris CLH-12 Open-Top Litter Box with Shield and Scoop, installed it between my shower & human litter box and voila! Problems mostly solved. Sammi the Weasel can no longer shove her butt out the front edge, Pepper Spray doesn't look like an awkward fat-ass stuffed in a tiny box, and Yoda Boda isn't flinging excavation treasures like a Tasmanian devil all over the entire room. The box lid is a little awkward because of the weird small area of where it barely clips onto the box. If you got sprayers or super high pee-ers, this will be a problem. It might accommodate bags easier than a regular hooded box, however I don't know that for sure, I haven't tried it with a bag yet since my demon-boy just shreds them into "sifter" bags anyway. He hasn't been able to ninja-kick it off yet, so yay! The included scoop is SMALL, but it has a cool handle hook that allows it to hook onto the lid of the box or open-hood. But hey, the scoop is a bonus and what cat poop-scooping person doesn't already have like 5 of those things anyway? The size is okay, its designed high not super lengthy or extra wide. It works, but it could be bigger which would make it more comfortable for my canine sized fur balls. Its only slightly wider than my regular litter box [very slightly]. If you are looking for a high sided wider one, check out one that looks like a baby bath tub (seriously it does), but you pretty much need fur balls with no litter box issues to brave a non-hood design [if you got one ... you could make a killing in breeding it!]. In short, if you need a hood with out the ceiling and don't have super high pee-ers/sprayers, this design will work. It's high enough to contain, but doesn't brush my butt and freak me out when I'm doing my bizniz either [its right beside my toilet, I'm not using the litter box I swear].

After 7 other litter boxes, this is the VERY BEST & LEAST EXPENSIVE! Even our tripod loves it!
EDIT: We now have three of these for our two cats, and even our tripod cat loves it! We recently adopted a cat who had to have her left back leg amputated before we got her, and I was worried that she would not be able to use this litter box since she has lost half of her "jump" power, so I brought out a lower tray litter box for her. However, she refused to use the tray one and figured out quickly how to use this one, so we got two more of them so they'll always have options. Wish I'd found these long ago--they're the best litter boxes we've ever had. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've purchased 8 litter boxes in the last year, spending over $500 on them all. I'm so excited to say that I've FINALLY found the very best one! And the fact that it's the least expensive of all the ones I've purchased is the icing on the cake. This litter box is so perfect precisely because of its simplicity. My cat loves to kick his litter everywhere. So, after 5 boxes that had varying degrees of high walls, I realized I needed to get a full enclosure box. This is the third I've gotten. The first two had walls + top you assembled and a pull out bottom tray. DO NOT GET THOSE! The assembled walls have thin open spaces that still allow litter to get out, and the bottom trays only slide out after you have manually brushed the litter inside them flat. Then, I was having to use a large paint brush to remove all the litter he'd kicked up onto the horizontal ledges all over the inside of the walls. And, even after doing that, it made a mess EVERYWHERE when trying to sift the litter clean. This is an extremely straight forward box. No bottom tray (yay!) no crevices for litter to get caught or kicked into = NO MESS AT ALL! I've had to keep honeycomb mats under the previous boxes to trap the litter he got in his paws, but this one has the ridges built into the top to catch it all before he steps off it. Brilliant design, super easy to remove the top, and such a cinch to clean! I let my cat play in it for about 6 hours before filling it up, just to be sure he would like it. He loves it. The hole is also big enough for a large cat---I'd say up to 20 lbs or so. My cat is 10 lbs and there's a huge amount of space for him. And the box itself is also definitely big enough for average Maine Coons, if you were wondering. But its rounded shape means it takes up considerably less floor space than square boxes. A truly innovative design, as litter boxes go.

Great little litter box I bought two of them love them and I think they’re just amazing
So good that I’ve actually bought two of them. I really liked them. The Quality is amazing. They’re really good easy to clean. This is amazing. I bought a cheapo one from Walmart for like four bucks and that one was the hardest sucker to clean. This has this the sides in the bottom are very easy. The substance is really very quickly. It’ll come off very quickly. It’s not a bad surface plastic. It’s very good and the cats love it and I like having the high sides to keep the stuff from being flung out everywhere they could scratch a little paws before they get out to make sure that they’re all clean. I mean it’s just a win-win all around and I really enjoy it, but the scooper is for nothing. That thing is just a piece of junk go by yourself a good scooper.

Sides don’t stay put
This box sort of does the job, but I should have read the measurements more closely before purchase. It is not that large. I got it for a growing cat and he ended up being larger than we thought, so this box is a tight fit when he goes in. I would have given it a higher rating except that the high sides portion of the box does not stay in place at all. As a result he will go on a digging spree and litter ends up all over the floor. I’m very tired of sweeping up litter every day so I’m looking for a larger box where the high sides are permanent or locking in some way so they don’t just come off like this one.

Such a cool litter box
I have one of those kitties that likes to throw the cat litter everywhere. This is that problem in a gif. The enter from the top litter box was no problem for her to figure out and the lid is super sturdy but easy to take down to clean. The little ridges keep the litter from going on the floor when she leaves the area. I have it between the wall and bathroom cabinet. That way she has to walk over the ridges as she exits. I bought those liners for the litter box and this is a great idea. It took 2 seconds to assemble. I think it looks great, better than other litter boxes.

Keeps the message contained
I love this litter box for my bunny! The sides are nice and high, which really helps prevent poop from getting kicked everywhere when he jumps out. It also does a great job containing the hay, keeping his area much cleaner. Simple design, but it works perfectly for our setup. Highly recommend for messy bunnies
