I was scared off this product by the flood of bad reviews and ended up buying another system and totally regretted it. This system is fantastic! While the LCD screen is laughably large, it is perfect for the 2 camera views. The nightlight feature is really slick with a useful timer, the ability to zoom and still pan around is a must, and the ease of install is so convenient. No, the talk back function doesn't always work but it won't convince my kids that I'm there with them anyway. And there is a 1-2sec delay in the footage, but I don't see that as a problem. If my kid is awake and crying, seeing them 1 sec earlier doesn't change anything about the safety of the situation. Occasionally it loses signal, but be patient and it will come back, or close and reopen the app. My cell phone drops signal sometimes too, that's life!I love the vtech system and regret buying another system with better reviews. The camera resolution is amazing, I LOVE THE APP capability that allows me to check in from afar, and I like the user friendly system. Buy this!

This baby monitor is absolute garbage. I am so disappointed, because this product is exactly what I wanted in a baby monitor. Most baby monitors either use the 2.4ghz band with a dedicated parent unit, which interferes with wifi. Or they don't have a parent unit at all and require using an app on a phone or tablet. The former causes wifi interference in my home network and doesn't have good range. The latter is not something I'm interested in: I want a dedicated parent unit.Unfortunately, this monitor falls short. For context, I'm a tech enthusiast and software engineer by trade, so I understand how to set up a wifi network. I have a hard wired backhaul with high performance Wifi 6 routers. So believe me when I tell you that my wifi network is highly optimized and I consistently get high bandwidth throughout my house, tested on many different clients.Yet these monitors consistently lose the wifi signal. The parent unit regularly gets disconnected from the cameras for seemingly no reason, both in wifi mode and direct mode. The camera feed when working has a great picture, but the signal gets degraded into a blurry mess regularly.I'm not even sure if I can enumerate all the other problems. The talk feature is completely unusable. The split screen has no audio. The back-and-forth mode only lasts for 5 seconds on each camera but it takes 2-3 seconds to connect, leaving almost no time on each cycle. The app is barely functional and logs you out regularly. This has been such a frustrating experience and I'm so disappointed in wasting my money on this product.

Works great, vdeo quality and zoom are superb, the app for remote viewing on the phone works awesome too. Only problem is, if you have 2 cameras, you can't hear both at the same time, you've got to set sound detection alerts on phone to hear when a baby cries.

We have had a lot of monitors and this is the best one by far. I love that it has a screen separate, but you can also connect it to your phone. The picture is really clear and all of the added effects are great. The only thing we’ve noticed is when you’re trying to talk into it. It’s hard for the child or baby to hear you.

Vtech has let me down after years of usage , keeps glitching camera is always turning the light feature on its own ,the app has malfunction and the fact that you send customer service request help out here in Amazon and with Vtech and no help at the end . Is not type of thing I want to deal with to ensure my child safety . I have the highest Wifi gig and still looks and doesn't want to connect adequately. Finally the monitor died and I realized is better calling VTech for support than the seller ,seller sends messages but no actual help , Contact VTech ! Cause they did help me like pros and are sending me brand new one . IM NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM THE SELLER AGAIN !

Funcionan Perfecto , buena imagen tanto de día como de noche , en la app también puedes ver el video , configurar luz , voz , música y tonos para dormir . En general un muy buen producto

This product arrives and definitely wasn’t new. When we finally had our baby and used the camera the sound didn’t work on the monitor so I couldn’t hear the baby I had to just keep looking at the monitor and guess. We ordered this bc of the monitor use not just phone use, and bc wire cutter had it highly rated. We are outside the window of return by a couple weeks and super disappointed will be buying another camera system altogether. Do not recommend.

The media could not be loaded. You can watch baby fine on it. The sound is terrible. All of the way up and you can’t hear anything until they start yelling. Videos save but 99% of them won’t even work when you try looking back at them which is exactly why I wanted it. After 7 months, I’m over it and ready for a new one and a better one. If you only want it to watch it when you need it then it’ll work fine but if you want it to look back at videos or incidents, then don’t even bother wasting your money.
