Pisces 15lb Seiryu Rock for Aquascaping, Aquariums, Terrariums, Vivariums

These rocks have beautiful veining of white, and absolutely bring a scape together. This modestly priced stone pack came with so many rocks I used them in 3 tanks (x1 20L, x1 40, x1 20 cube) as still have enough to use in another, of flush out the 40 even more. I say they are good for smaller tanks as main stones or larger tanks as accents as the largest the measure is about 4in-5in long. The heavily planted tank I use them in is Japanese garden themed, and the line the “garden beds” and pathway, the Dalmatian Molly tank is a work in progress, but is a hard water tank I keep my freshwater clam in, and if you look carefully you can see it decided to nestle into the rocks (yes they do move), the last tank is my cube which is based off of sycamore gap, and the tragic loss of it being cut down (the stones are mixed into a heavy carpet of mini leaf and dwarf hair grass, but I’m considering removing the hair grass for more mini leaf). I mention. This so you can see the vast use-cases for these and how very different tanks with different needs can all be complimented by these. I love the price point, they are real stone, and they look fabulous. I’m interested on if these were mined ethically or not due to the low price, but regardless (there is no ethical consumption under capitalism) I really do love these and recommend them to anybody who wants something to boost their hard scape. The texture of these rocks is rough enough to harbor great beneficial bacteria and smooth enough for fish like corydoras and loaches to eat biofilm off of without issue. (Tested with albino and Julii eye corydoras, and hillstream loaches) They also stack well, just make sure to superglue them or preferably aquarium epoxy them together for a secure hold. All in all 87/100, I wish there were more varieties of size, but other than that, they are pretty perfect for aquascaping.

These amazing stones are just what you are looking for if you want to decorate your aquarium/terrarium with a Seiryu type stone, (REAL Seiryu stone is no long exported from Japan.) These stones are beautiful with a nice selection of sizes. I purchased (3) bags and on average there are about 3-4 smaller stones, and 1-3 medium/large stones and one very large stone. All of the stones look fantastic, and in each bag there were at least 2 stones that were just incredible in shape and detail...truly something unique that will appeal to any aquarist. All in all, an excellent deal, considering most pet stores, (local and online) want to charge you about $30 for just ONE Seiryu type, large stone, (especially the more dramatic/beautiful pieces). For just over $32 (and FREE SHIPPING w/ PRIME! You can't beat that with a stick...trying shipping this much heavy stone...its a fortune.) you get 17 POUNDS of high quality Seiryu type stone that will enhance and beautify any aquarium or terrarium. HIGHLY recommended.

Amazing. The amount of rocks should be enough to build a 50 gallon aquarium. The stones are beautiful.

Can’t go wrong with these rocks at a good price better than your local fish store

I was nervous about buying stones I had not picked out myself - but the quantity quality and price on these stones is absolutely unbeatable. It was enough to do all the hardscape in my new 30 gallon blackwater tank. The big chain pet stores charge double the price for the exact same bag of stones. The photo is of my 29 gallon tank so it's actually quite a bit of stone for the price. The remote control in the picture is so you can get an idea of what size they are. They're good like medium size stones with a few small ones, which is much easier to work with when you're aquascaping.

This was my first time buying rocks online or any for that matter (well big aquascaping ones) I was a little hesitant about what kind and how big the rocks that I would receive but with seeing the reviews of other people and pictures I was very impressed and I took a risk and I’m glad that I did because I absolutely love them. The rocks are gorgeous. Also, don’t mind the cloudy water. I just put Fluval stratum in my tank and it was just getting clear.

Es la primera vez que compro este tipo de rocas en Amazon con cierta duda a decir verdad (ya que no son nada baratas) pero cuando abrí el paquete que recibí quedé impresionado con la calidad de las piezas, cantidad y variedad de tamaños que me llegaron. Vienen algo sucias pero eso índica que son completamente de origen natural que es lo que se busca en este tipo de materiales, su nivel de detalle, color y textura es una locura son hermosas, definitivamente las volveré a comprar para otro proyecto de Aquascaping.

These rocks are beautiful! I don’t think it’s Seiryu rock but it is a similar limestone based rock and looks great. Nice size and interesting shapes and colour. Great value for money when compared to prices at fish stores. There is plenty to do a great aquascape in a 10 gallon and enough to stretch out to fill a 20 gallon if needed. Will look beautiful against a black substrate with live plants. Great price too compared to aquarium stores. Tempted to buy it again just to see what I get and to have more selection but Indont need it and what I got is going to be great. It will raise Ph though so I’ll have to put them in water for a little while and see exactly how much they will buffer it up. Will update if there are any surprises. I have added a pick with almost all of the rocks in a fairly standard shaped 20 gallon tank for reference.

Nunca creí pagar tanto por piedras pero realmente lo valen, son piezas muy bonitas y de buen tamaño, antes de comprarlas dije " como voy a pagar por piedras" y me fui al cerro a buscar, obviamente no encontré nada de este calibre y calidad.

I needed to redo my planted aquarium in order to replace the substrate, so decided to purchase a box of these natural rocks to try them out. I had the usual fake log, coral structure and other stuff but was never satisfied with them. These natural rocks only needed a light rinsing, then into the tank they went. Really improved the look of the aquarium after I was done, plus since they are real rocks (and not hollow/fake stuff) they won't move around or float. Should have done this in the first place.
