5 x Virasorb 2g 5% Cold Sore cream (5 Packs)

Very simple to use, if you feel a cold sore coming just get a tube and dab a little on the affected area. It is very fast acting giving relief from the tingling when they are coming and also the burning when theyve already broken out. I keep the tubes in the fridge when unopened and they last for quite a long while. They are 2g per tube and dont require using a lot at a time. Overall coldsores that would be all over my lips for over a week if untreated this stuff stops the spreading, and heals your coldsore in around 48 hours if used before it fully breaks out. Worth every penny for the effectiveness.

+More liquidy compared to Zovirax making it easier to spread. +Might be placebo or personal experience but I've found it to heal the cold sore faster than Zovirax. +Works well in conjuction with cold sore patches. +Significantly cheaper the Zovirax which makes it a no-brainer for me.

Great value multipack. Quality is good, easy to use, stayed on well. Didn't stain anything. Size is ideal for your poocket, and there's no nasty smell. My partner used it to reduce his cold sore. I used it prophylactically after I had my lips tattooed. The Virasorb was effective, and did it's job well.

This product offers much more value for money than a particular well-known brand out there! (That is, it has the same 5% Aciclovir as the major brand, which is the active part - the part that actually attacks the virus). However you pay for what you get - though effective, this cream is not quite a creamy as the major brand one (which seems to stay on longer). However neither is it as watery as the other cheaper brand Aciclovir creams, which I don't personally find work as well as they seem to "evaporate" away too quickly so you end up re-applying constantly! So this cream is middle of the road, ie. creamy enough........ and being about £4 cheaper than the leading brand, its an absolute MUST for anyone who suffers from reoccurring cold sores, who also wants to keep their money in their wallet! I've found that using this in conjunction with a cold sore machine can virtually make cold sores a thing of the past! (ie. mine come less often, heal quicker and are 70% less severe!). I have to use this regularly for cold sores on my nose and lips. This multipack offers great value for money, and provides relief from the cold sores. It is easy to apply and provides relief from the cold sores. I don’t understand why the tubes are so small.

Its very evfective

Brought for my husband as he suffers badly with cold sores especially on holiday. He said this is the best cream he has ever used, gets rid of the pain instantly and a cold sore is gone with 2 days!

This is exactly the same as zovirax but at a fraction of the cost. Will buy again.
