Great gloves - but a bit overpriced for how long they last
The gloves are very comfortable and nice to work with. You can actually feel the item that you are holding, which isn't always the case with most garden gloves. Unfortunately, the only make it through 1-2 years of use before they start to fall apart, which for the price isn't that great.

So Far So Good
I've used these for some limited digging, moving sheets of OSB and rough cut Cedar, moving a few hundred pieces of brick and cement block, and pulling up some weeds left to grow fairly tall. They were up to the tasks and have worn well. The 4 Stars and not 5 is because they aren't sized quite right. I don't have large hands, but have found the Medium size to be a bit tight. I would suggest ordering a size bigger than you think you need. It has not made them unusable, just not as comfortable as they might otherwise be.

Not durable, but the "landscape" ones are
Update: I contacted West County Gardener's customer service: they asked that I send in my gloves, despite being (slightly) out of warranty. I heard back shortly thereafter, and received a new set of gloves. BUT: they're different gloves: instead of the "work" gloves, they are "landscape" gloves ( West County 048CHL Men's Large Landscape Work Glove, Charcoal , which have Kevlar reinforcement in high-wear areas. These landscape gloves have made all the difference for me. Like the "work" gloves, their fit makes them fine for pruning roses and light work, and their durability lets me use them for hand-hauling all kinds of brush. I've been using them for 3 months now with no problems.I'm upgrading my review to 2 stars, since the "work" gloves probably are OK for most work. Prices for the 2 models are the same (currently), and they're equally comfortable so get the landscape ones.Original review:I bought these based on (a) the reviews on Amazon, (b) trying on gloves at hardware stores, and (c) the West Country web site. When they arrived, I was surprised at how snugly they fit (nice!) and at how flimsy the seemed (darn!). The latter proved the more appropriate impression: Within just over 3 months of purchase and occasional use (less than 3 days/week), the stitching is coming out on some of the finger pads, and the cloth at one of the finger tips just ripped open.

Best Gardening Gloves Ever
I work as a professional landscaper, and these are by far the best gloves I have ever used, and that is after trying numerous brands across the expense spectrum. Go to the West County site, as you have to measure your hand, they have a print out that you measure your hand against, and that makes all the difference. These snug fitting gloves allow you to still do the little things like weed, use tools, etc, while still protecting your hands. They last longer than other brands, breathe better - although your hands can still get warm, clean up great in the washer, and have a number of neat touches - velcro closer keeps dirt out, a terry cloth brow wipe, and just enough padding in just the right areas.I advise you to check out their site, and see the different gloves they have, and again MEASURE YOUR HAND. I use the Work Gloves, the Landscape Gloves model offers a little extra wear protection - I don't find it useful but maybe if you are working with sharp stone for example would be worth the few extra bucks. They also have rose gloves, and waterproof gloves which I do not have experience with but others swear by for cold, rainy, snowy days if you have to work outdoors in said type of weather.

Disappointed
I was really looking forward to these gloves. I'm a farmer and go through gloves to easily. I had only worn these gloves twice and already there is a tear in the finger tip. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly.Very disappointed that they lasted as long as a cheap pair of Walmart gloves!!

Good Fit
Gloves are great, that fit, and are made out of recycled materials. I have had a hard time finding gloves that fit and these are the best I could find. I got them for a present. I cannot find them in the state so will get them online.

sad
These gloves fit well and are very comfortable. However after one week of use the stitching on several fingers unraveled making the gloves useless.

favorite gloves
These gloves are well made and flexible; they don't get stiff like leather gloves. We get our own firewood and they are necessity to keep our hands protected from slivers, etc. They're washable; but i wash them by soaking in soapy water and gently scrubbing them together. The double protected index finger makes the gloves last much longer. They are kind of spendy but well worth the price
