I was diagnosed with a rare sleep disorder called non24. I needed to start treatment & hadn't had time to investigate black out shades. This was easy to cut out & set up. It's kind of annoying to put it up & take it down over & over, but it works well & isn't hard to use. It's just not as easy a a shade or curtain. It does block 100% of light. That is really important with my problem.

I bought these for a trip where I knew I would have to get to bed early since I would be working 3 days a week from my regular time zone which was 6 hr ahead of where I went. The bedroom had 3 big windows on one side and 2 on the other. I put these up on 2 of the 3 windows that the sun hit during the late afternoon. Not only did these darken the room well, they also help to keep the heat out. Easy to cut to the size needed. They are thick and durable. I was there a month and didn't have any issue with them falling. I cleaned the window well and used alcohol pads to wipe any access moisture off the window before securing. They will probably still be up when I go back in Nov. I plan to use these in my bedroom at home to keep the heat out.

Thin, like the aluminum you’d use to keep food hot , but works well and helps with temp control too .. easily trimmable

I used this for my nursery and it really did the job until the command strip kept coming off the window. Installation was very easy- I did it on my own & they give you a ruler and everything! I think the command strip kept coming off bc its been super hot and the window was getting hot. Other than the command strip, it’s worth the money!

As the title states, it does keep sunlight out and heat as well. The first thing I liked the most about this product is that the seller did not short me any velcro included in the order. As a matter of fact, I still have some left over. Also, it is not the cheap crap that just falls down within the next day or two. I have had mine up since around spring of last year and have had 0 issues with it at all.This product does not tear easily, you must cut it with a knife or scissors.Other than that, I couldn't find anything to complain about, or trust me, I would....
