Does what you want
This is a standard punchdown tool and works in the usual and predictable way.

Cheap and cheerful.
You get what you pay for. Needed this to terminate a plate at home but my tools were at work, so ordered this as it would arrive before I traveled back on shift again.Only did 1 cable and found it quite flimsy. As you need a fair bit of pressure to punch and cut it felt like it would snap if used a lot. Handle is comfortable.

Great low cost punch down tool
Bought this to fit sockets on a CAT 6 cable I was installing. It was much cheaper than other punch down tools I looked at and it worked well. Connections all made at the first attempt and work perfectly. I can't comment on the durability as I've only used it to fit two sockets but it seems reasonably well made for the price. The cable cutter is not great, well it's pretty useless actually. When you push down the tool, it clicks and the cutter anvils close but it does not cut off the excess cable. Maybe I just got a blunt one. I used cutters to trim the cable so no worries. It might not be a professional quality tool but I'm definitely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to fit a few sockets or make a few cables.

Makes fitting the occasional socket much easier
This doesn't feel like the most durable tool, but it made it much easier to wire up a few household sockets. You do need to get the angle just right for the cutter to work, as the tiniest bit out and it won't quite catch it.Very good for the money

Screws and nuts fell out.
On the 3rd day of using it the screws and nuts fell off so now the cutters don't work and the push down comes out.

Does the job!
Perfect tool for punching down network cables into wall sockets and/or network rack patch panels. Used for a home networking setup and works perfectly. The tool feels sturdy and cuts any excess cable off which is helpful.Sometimes the cable cutter can be a little hit and miss but 95% of the time it works and that's good enough for me for the price. Was able to order this early evening and get it delivered next day which was perfect. The price of this is perfect and I've used a range of these in a professional capacity too which cost 5/6 times more than this and it feels as good as those.Would recommend.

Works great.
Looks identical to my old, expensive, model which I have had for over 30 years but recently lost. It is perhaps slightly lighter but the build quality is very good and amazing for this low price!

BROKEN AFTER TWO USES.
Sadly a poor product. “you get what you pay for”, “But it nice or buy it twice” etc etc…I’m a telecoms engineer and hardly have the need for a Kroning tool anymore so I chose to buy a cheap one. I’ve literally used this tool twice since I got it and on the second go it’s broken. (To be exact the little snips that cut away the excess wire when punching down no longer snip)Bad product, cheap for a reason.Oh well, I’ve learnt my lesson. 👀
