Very solid and well built
This holder is the perfect size for my NATO standard GELG jerry can, it has only about 1/2" excess space on each side. The frame was easy to assemble with hex bolts, they even provided an allen wrench. The hex bolts make it a little less likely to be removed by a thief. You have to supply your own hold down bolts, but they could vary depending on how you mount it. The frame has to be assembled with both the locking eyes to one side, otherwise the top strap will not fit. Once the top strap is connected and locked, the can is securely mounted and cannot move, The top strap cannot be pressed down to release the u-shaped catch from the d-ring, like I have seen in a YouTube video for another brand. All the welds look solid, this is a good value.

Have a 5 lb. Sledge Hammer Ready
These are sturdy Jerry can carriers and the paint is good. The assembly is easy until it is time to place the cans.I have regulation size Jerry cans and the base ( lower ) bracket was about 1/8 inch too small in width. I took a 5 pound sledge hammer and cold bent the ends which widened the base enough so the cans slip in.The second problem is the locking strap. The instructions say to be careful not to install the top bracket upside down, but this is exactly what I had to do to secure the can. I followed the instructions and found that the locking strap could be slipped off the can, then off the hook where one end of the strap attaches. The can is easily removed doing this. I then put the top bracket on upside down. The locking strap does not fit this way but it is easily bent to conform to the can. This make the strap tight and I could not slip it off the can. Just a word of warning that your Jerry can is not locked if you assemble the cage as directed by the instructions.

Satisfied so far, mounted with truck clamps
Sturdier than I expected based on some of the reviews. Had to wiggle-play with some of the screws, but they bolted solid in the end. As you can see from the photos, I attached them with truck bed clamps (other attachment methods would have required drill holes and nutserts). Seems like a stable enough attachment, again, after some wiggle-adjustments.

Sub par locks.
The can holders work fine. The lock strap is worthless. You can just push the hook down and remove the cans with a padlock still attached.

Broken welds
Overall this is a fine carrier, however I bought 3 and 2 came with broken welds.I ordered two originally for my overland trailer & one was fine and could be mounted, but the 2nd had the bottom welds broken. It was returned and I used to refund to buy a second (3rd in total), it also certainly with broken welds.Normally I would look past that as aside from that I found it to be a good carrier, even with the hardware not being galvanized or ss, but the broken welds is hazardous and makes them unsafe and unusable in some moutning circumstances. If this quality issue were to be fixed I would say they're a 4 star product.
