KEEN Women's Commuter III Cycling Shoe

Based on other reviews, I purchased a half-size smaller than my regular size. They fit perfectly. I installed the SPD cleats (not included) the day they arrived, and was out on the bike for a 20 mile spin around town shortly after. They really did exceed my expectations as a bike shoe. I was concerned that there would be too much 'play' in them, but they can be adjusted to provide a very secure and supportive fit. The breeze feels great between the toes too - a nice alternative to a road or mountain shoe in steamy Houston. They're terrific off the bike as well. No tap-dancing! Now the bad news - get them while you can, because I understand that Keen has discontinued the cycling versions of their classic sandals.

When I read the reviews that this shoe runs small, I almost ordered 1/2 size down and I am glad I didn't. I wear a 9 and I ordered a 9. My toes are all the way touching the rubber if my heel doesn't stick out a little bit. I am considering exchanging them for a bigger size. I wore them around the house and they feel comfortable.I have a flat foot and a wide toe box, so they are definitely wide enough for comfort, but I do not see why everyone is saying that they run big because they DEFINITELY do not run big for me.

A friend of mine had a pair of these Keen sandals for bicycling that she used all last summer. I thought about getting a pair since then and finally broke down and looked online for them. Apparently, Keen is not making them any more as it took a lot of work to find my size and I could only get them in the black color. But the story has a happy ending. They fit perfectly, appear rugged and worthy of the Keen name, and the SPD cleat fit into them easily. I was worried that a sandal with a SPD cleat, which is more open and less solid than a shoe, would be hard to engage and disengage while bike riding but that is not the case. I can clip in and out with the usual amount of effort and plan to wear these sandals all summer while riding my bike, if summer ever makes it to New England!

I bought these for riding my bike to the river but, they're so comfy they may become my daily riding shoes. I put a pair of water proof socks on with them & rode in the rain, it was much more comfortable than putting rain covers over my other cycling shoes. I've had them for about a year of riding now & I'm very sad to say they're worn out, the plate where the cleat mounts to the shoe is actually cracked & beginning to tear, which has allowed a cleat to shift dramatically so that it was impossible to disconnect from the pedal before I had dismounted, thankfully that only happened with one shoe. The other is beginning to crack now. I really like the concept, I'd appreciate more durability & a better strap closure, this one tends to cut at the ankle.

I absolutely love them. They're cool and comfortable for biking, and also for walking. I wore them to spin class this morning , and ran errands after, and I had them on the entire time without problems.I've also used them on 30 mile rides on my road bike in complete comfort.I had read other reviews that said they ran large so I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear, and that was perfect. My foot is 91/2 medium to slightly wide, and the shoes are wide so I don't know if the'd work as well with a narrower foot.

Bought these for the wife. Went back and forth over getting her actual size, or a half size smaller, like others in reviews have suggested, and even Keen's website suggests. Ended up getting the half size smaller which of curse were too small. I ordered another pair the next size up that fits fine.Sandals are on the pricey side, but since they will only be biking sandals, they should last a long time.Aside from the size issue, the she loves the sandals. Thinking about a pair for me now. Will start with my normal shoe size!

I ordered these for my wife. She is a big Keen fan and these live up to the normal quality you expect from them. Unlike some previous models, however, they run 1/2 size big and we had to return the first order. The only gripe about these was the boring color options, there were no options... The Amazon return process was quick and easy, the new pair arrived before the old pair made it back to the warehouse.

I am very happy I was able to find these for the summer! I find the fit to be exact I have heard they run big but I ordered my size and they fit perfect! I've worn them a few times now and they are very comfortable although I'm not sure how they will be over 30 miles.
