Great ESC
Great ESC, I've not had it long, so I'm not sure about its' durability. If you don't know how to solder the 12 gauge wires onto the posts, get someone who knows how to solder to do it. You can damage the internal electronics if you keep the heat on for too long. They recommend a minimum 60 watt iron, I'd recommend even higher. I got it done, without damaging it, but a novice should probably not attempt. Overall the programming features are nice. I'm not to happy with the delay on the reverse, but you may be able to program that out, I'm not too familiar with it yet. Overall it's a great ESC. I'm using it in an Axial Exo with the Pro4 HD 4300kv motor. The Exo is a pretty heavy car, and it flies with this ESC, and motor.

Disappointed
Bought this for my new Losi 8ight-E 3.0. I've taken the car to the track three times. This last time I noticed the fan was making a loud noise so I brought the car in from the track and pulled the body. The fan was no longer attached to the heat sink as it was dangling loose inside the body, the cord still attached and the screws still in place. The plastic cage that holds the fan was completely destroyed and most of it was missing. The lower casing is cracked in multiple places. The unit is secure to the body of the car and no other components of the RC car are damaged, not even the body. The car took some relatively hard bumps and roll overs during the session but certainly well within the boundaries of normal off-road racing. I have another, older 3.0 that has a different ESC which is in good shape and didn't cost near what this Tekin does. Tekin needs to re-design the case on this model, or use a material that holds up to shock better. Very disappointed.
