worked perfectly!
I had a mouse problem in my mostly finished out garage and tried a variety of other ways to catch them. After they destroyed two quilts that were stored in a cabinet, I went on a mission and found this thing.. I caught 5 little mice in the garage on the first night and took them far away to a wooded forest for a ne destiny. That seems to be all of them.. I did catch a squirrel by accident later, but they can get out, fyi.... but I bought it for the mice. I just leave it set up out in the garage and check it every so often just in case, But I haven't seem any further signs. It is just the lid. You have to add the bucket. Defiantly worth the $. Wish I had done it sooner.

Flemsy
The product did not work the flipper part would not flip easily like stated, the stairs part would not stay up it was very flemsy ,never cought any mice at all I followed the directions of placing said trap items on stairs and all around top of lid, big waste of money the stick traps was more effective…

Broke within first month
The flap broke within the first month. The peg thing just busted off. We did catch 3 mice in our crawl space prior to it busting…Either we had a really fat mouse or it wasn’t a good one… ordering a second one to see if it holds up better .

Love these!! So effective!
We have tried multiple mouse traps for our garage and shops, and nothing is as effective as these. The first day we set up two of them in our shop and got two mice in one, and six in the other! We use our shop as a root celler in the fall, and this has kept the mice out of our apples and pumpkins. Easy to use and set up. We put a few inches of water in the bottom of our buckets so that the mice aren’t alive by the time we empty the traps. Definitely worth the money.

Lid is Great, Ramp Not so Good
The media could not be loaded. Snapped right onto the 5-gallon bucket very firmly and the trap door on top is very sensitive so I suspect the rat will fall right in.However, from my attached video you will see the ramp is so small and unsteady that it resulted in the rat falling off halfway up and defeating the whole purpose.I am trying a piece of long wood this time around and we will see.

They built a better mouse trap!!! But shipping was sloooow.
The media could not be loaded. This thing has been working like a charm for me since I got it. But shipping was a big disappointment. It took about a month to arrive, finally showing up in late November.Check out the video to see the minor adjustments I made that make this thing a winner. If I had to buy it again I definitely would

Doesn't work...at least not for me.
In theory, this trap should work, but no matter where I place it in my basement, where I have a rat and mouse problem, nothing. I use peanut butter and different seeds, including bird seed, as bate yet they never go for it. Am wondering if it's the ladder they have to climb to get to it? Glad I didn't spend much money on this contraption.

Very happy
This product was easy to put together. It fit my bucket perfectly. The quality is very good and it worked great. I caught five mice in my barn the first night I put it in. I think the key to this product is to put the peanut butter on the top cover above the black platform. I then smushed my horse feed into the peanut butter. I've had great results on night one.
