Rug Anchors, Larger Size and Stronger Sticky Non-slip Mat with Hook and Loop Square (4PCS, Black)

I used them to help stop a rug and a runner slipping on a new, all polypropylene, thick pile carpet. The 'anchors' stuck well (perhaps too well) to the carpet but not to the hessian back of the rug or runner. The Anchors made thing worse. The rug and runner quickly moved position (the sticky surface slipping along the underside of the rug and runner. It was then harder to get them back to their correct positions because the glue 'was' effective at hindering the replacement of the mats. The idea is rubbish anyway because the Velcro-type fixing between the two pieces of the Anchor is stronger than the glue so, try and take your mat up and the 'Velcro' stays attached whilst the glue lifts and pulls tufts from you carpet. I have now removed all 12 and damaged my new carpet in the process as it was impossible to remove the carpet fixed pieces without pulling away buts of the carpet itself. These items will always suffer from bad design no matter where they are used, with the 'Valcro' being stronger than the glue (onto hessian) you can't lift your mats without degrading the adhesive. Feel sick that I have paid out £24 to damage my own hall carpet.

these anti carpet curling squares are very good I had a carpet that I was going to throw out because the corners kept curling up people was always tripping over them these anti carpet curling squares are very tough durable they stick down in seconds very good I would buy these again 10 out of ten

I have tried everything to stop rugs moving, great for laminated floors. Since I used these rigs not moved at all even with 2 dogs running back and fore. Would recommend.

These are really good had tried 3 other products to get my rug to stay put on out laminate floor they only lasted a couple of weeks before lost there sticky I have 3 children who like to lift the rug up, these have lasted well over a month could be nearly 2 months and still stuck firm

Poor adhesive does not grip effectively

Really stuck rug down firmly as I have 2 dogs running about and rug doesn’t move now.i would definitely recommend
