NATO Jerry Gas Can NOZZLE / SPOUT for the NATO Military Spec.CURRENT MODEL Jerry can

This nozzle does not fit the newest NATO jerry cans with the tighter fitting lid. The newest cans use a tighter, deeper locking system on the cans to increase dropped burst strength. When we told CampingMaxx that the nozzle did not work, we were told that that meant we had bought illegal Chinese knock-off cans. First of all, we did NOT buy Chinese cans. Secondly, the Chinese cans he mentioned would only be illegal if we were storing fuel in them. They are perfectly legal for storing water, etc. However, this nozzle is not a legal nozzle to dispense fuel -- it does not have an automatic shut-off, and so is not spill-proof (the 2000 EPA regulation states acceptable cans have: "Automatic closure, meaning a nozzle which automatically springs to the closed position when not pouring and childproof features as designated by the Children's Gasoline Burn Prevention Act". So even if this nozzle would fit your can, you cannot legally use it to dispense fuel.

Seems to be built very well however I am back to using two gaskets again and it is still dripping. You just can't get it tight enough to not leak.

I just used this and it fits my 20 liter, NATO Jerry Can perfectly. Not a single drop leaked. This is exactly what I was looking for. It fits tightly yet easily. Definitely the real deal.

This nozzle was designed to fit real NATO jerry cans. It included the gasket and fits snuggly. There are no leaks around the edges while pouring. The nozzle is held securely to the jerry can for storage when not in use.

This is the real one, not a cheap knock-off, and it comes with the clip to attach it to the jerry can and a smaller nozzle in case you need to fill something with a smaller diameter tank opening.

FIts the "NATO" can I have, but doesn't mount to the handles as the spout is in the middle of the can. Having to "adjust" the mounting to fit. Otherwise nice.
