My little girl was determined to have a 'sparkly lip balm' so I ordered this which is called 'Vanilla Sparkle' flavour. It's purple coloured balm and doesn't smell like vanilla. There's also zero sparkle.

I know obviously don’t eat it but when puckering your lips or something it left an odd aftertaste.

So I bought this for my daughter as based on the description and the images I thought it would be a transparent lip balm. Sadly it’s blue. I think the description of the product is misleading.

The flavor says vanilla for the one I ordered, and it says it on the tube, but the balm inside is a dark purple color with a berry scent/flavor. I am quite disappointed in that, as I was hoping for the vanilla one. I'd like a replacement but there is no way to contact. Update: Amazon helped me with the above issue, and I had already placed a new order for the multi-pack, hoping that the flavors would be correct in the bulk package. I received them today and everything is as expected so I am happy with it. I do hope this store fixes their issue with incorrectly labeled tubes being sent out. Thank you! If you are wondering about flavors and consistency: The flavors are nice. My least favorite is Belle's, it smells somewhat like buttered popcorn flavored jelly beans, but if you like those, this one is for you! There are 2 "berry" variants in addition to a raspberry one, which is redundant in my opinion. But they are different from each other and both smell nice. Moana is strawberry, and Ariel is like a purple grape artificial flavor (think grape ice-pops). The kiwi is a nice and fresh scent, smells kind of like melon. The cotton candy is different than the regular cotton candy one, & it is somehow weaker in the scent (or more like bubblegum?) than the original Bonne Belle cotton candy Lip Smacker. You can taste the sweetness when you wear it, but the scent is barely there. The vanilla is also a light scent, smells a bit like coconut, but it is nice. Some of the balms are thicker, whereas others are more slippery/viscous. I think this might just have to do with batches and they all feel fine when worn. They go on transparent when applied. For informational purposes, this party pack is made in China. If flavored lip balm is making your small child bite their lips, you should obviously put something on them that is not flavored like candy. The Lip Smacker website recommends their products for ages 6 and up. I like this item as do the people who I've given some to, so I have returned to buy another.
