This works so well for our dog. He calms down as soon as we put this on him. It’s not too tight and fits his perfectly. He’s a boxer pitty mix and this works so dang well for him when he’s a little out of hand.

I have a tiny Chihuahua who is quite the character—she's very nervous and has a tendency to act tough around bigger dogs, often barking and wanting to confront them. After discussing her behavior with my vet, I decided to try out a calming product they recommended. I must say, it has worked wonders! I don’t have to use it very often, but on the occasions that I do, I notice a remarkable transformation in her demeanor. She becomes a much more relaxed and confident little girl. If you have a dog that tends to get scared or anxious, I highly recommend giving this a try!

Made well but too small for our dog.

My dog Rosey hates the 4th of July! She shakes and paces when she hears fireworks, and we have to medicate her. The medication helps, but not enough as I don’t want to her to be too drowsy, so I don’t give her much. This jacket was easy to put on, and fit perfectly. It was noticeable right away. She was still anxious, but didn’t react to the fireworks like usual. She didn’t hide under the table or pace and shake like she always does. I have used it on other occasions when there are loud noises. I still have to medicate her for the 4th, but the jacket is enough for the other times. I was skeptical at first because this jacket was much less expensive than others I looked at. And they seemed more complicated to put on. I would definitely recommend this jacket, not only for the ease of putting it on, but for the price and durability. Thank you for a great product that really works!

You would do better buying an actual thunder shirt- this is inferior by far- the fabric is crappy- it is really hard to figure out how to put it on- and the sizing is bizarre. I bought a large based on his chest girth. It stops above his waist. My dog is lean but this looks right for a beagle. My other dog has worn an actual thunder shirt for years. I know how to put them on.

This shirt is well made. Easy to get a nervous dog into it. Using it on a dog that gets car sick and since we have begun using it, have had no episodes and have noted marked decrease in drooling during the car trips as well Velcro straps are strong and make the shirt adjustable to get a snug fit

I tried to get away with buy this one instead of the real “thunder vest”. I thought I’d try to save a little. You get what you pay for I guess. It stretched as I tightened. The front was the absolute worst design. The little ring that you use to tighten the front stretches and becomes very tight and dangerous on the chest. It was digging into my dog. I had to loosen it for that purpose, but then it wasn’t really hugging him anymore and it went further and further down his body. Just an overall fail in my opinion. It creates another stress of discomfort. I’ll spend the money to replace the real thunder vest that we had that got a tear in it. So worth the money.

My dog has high anxiety and fear during NYE and 4th of July. Last NYE she spent the night pacing, trying to squeeze herself in between the bed and nightstand, up and down off the bed, going into the closet - for hours. Wearing this significantly calmed her down. She shook a little during the evening but nothing like she has in the past. During peak fireworks at midnight, she was curled up with me in bed sleeping soundly, so I am hopeful this vest was the reason for her improvement. It's very comfortable and she has no issues wearing it. We'll see how she does on July 4th. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because she still had some anxiety but it was much less than without the vest.
