First, let me say that I have many mah-jongg sets. Each one is a little different and I appreciate all of them in their own way. I have also ordered and returned many that are substandard for one reason or another.I can tell you with great certainty that this set is far superior to anything else I have found in this price range. First, the quality of the tiles is the very best out there. Excellent quality melamine, and the artwork on the tiles is the finest! Very precise lines, excellent designs (not cartoonish; very detailed and lovely), Extremely neat and crisp coloring. Second, the racks! Virtually all the other sets come with the typical multicolored somewhat flimsy racks. These are much sturdier and thicker, a beautiful muted red that matches the color of red ink in the tiles. And finally, the quilted black case is excellent. It is made of a very sturdy fabric and it will hold up beautifully. Everything is well constructed. All the extra accessories and tiles are in the small zippered pouch on the inside of the case. Even the dice and bettor are better than anything in this price range.I highly recommend this mah-jongg set! If you are in the market for one that is not at a much higher price range, this is your set!

Haven't played it yet, but love the case it comes in,it will hold up well, it makes it easy to bring along to friends houses to play,all the tiles are painted very nicely, great colors, and nothing missing. Just hoping we will find the time to play soon

This is a very nice Mahjong set. The quilted bag is nice quality. I wish a small quilted bag was included to put all the tiles into, so I will look for one to purchase. The tiles look very nice & all the red racks are intact with no breaks. Can’t wait to play!

Very Nice Set, Racks are a beautiful wine color But flimsy! I don’t see them lasting very long .. not a sturdy plastic. (I’m still keeping the set as I already have racks) The black carry bag is beautifully made and I love the fabric. It’s dressier.. the rack covers are also nice but could stand to be a little larger to make it easier to Velcro the racks in. Tiles are basic but nicely made and your standard size.

This is a nice set. The bag and holders are well made as well.

I am learning how to play American Mahjong and this set is very nice. A friend gave me a quick lesson but I am watching YouTube now to learn it very slowly - for beginners. The bag is nice and the pieces store nicely in the storage boxes in the bag. The pieces are very easy to read and very pretty. There is also a zippered section where additional chips and pieces can be stored. You will like the set if you purchase it.

It’s a fun game and the quality is top notch!
