Q: can this be used on a gas stove top?

I have been told that you can use the teapot on gas stove. I have not tried it.

Q: I want this as a daily use tea pot? is it just for decoration? i am not comfortable that it is made in china and not gb. price reflex quality, is it?

It’s fine to use every day is a teapot. I would recommend not letting the water sit in it at all times. I had previous to this one I did that and also boiled it dry my fault. The second one has been wonderful and it’s beautiful as well as functional since I took better career it.

The Mackenzie-Childs pieces that I purchased at Amazon are authentic. Parchment is not as common as it once was and only offered in a few markets.
