General Oil 2605 "R" Epoxy-Coated Can Replacement Cartridge - Boxed

I have used these filters for my house oil furnace for years and they seem to work well, no issues. I change them every year. I have found my furnace set up at home is not the norm, most home furnaces have smaller media (filter) dimensions and use a cartridge type oil filter, so whenever I had someone do a furnace "tune up", they never had the correct size air filter or oil filter type with them, so I just buy my air and oil filters off Amazon now, and don't pay the service people for that. On that note, clear that up with them prior to them servicing your furnace (or boiler), because I have found some charge the same whether they can replace your filters or not, which I think is a little crazy, they should at least discount the price a little bit if they don't need to (or can't) supply those items.

Local stores want almost double this price. Always have one as a spare during the winter months. Good Buy!

Used this for a boiler tune up. It replaced the old filter with no problems and keeps the fuel sediment feee. Best price was on amazon, not at the local boiler supply.
