Beautiful Shades
The black navigators with the touch of gold is a nice look. The smart glasses were easy to setup with the Alexa app. Managing the charging stand separate from the case is a bit cumbersome. As for the operation of the smart glasses, the sound has been great but I haven’t used them in a noisy environment. That said, I’m happy with my purchase.

Nice glasses but useless without a charger
**2nd update** They contacted me a few weeks after they started selling the charger on its own, telling me it was available for purchase. I had already bought extra chargers. I still love the glasses, Im just still raw about getting passed around when I had a legitimate issue. Send me a charger or credit me for one and ill update my review. ***UPDATE*** AMAZON says to contact Carrera for warranty for the charger, Carrera emailed me and "If you purchased your frame from a third-party retailer, they will handle any warranty claims if your purchase was less than 1 (one) year ago." Amaozon is a 3rd party retailer according to Carrera. Thats a direct quote. I have several emails back and forth with Carrera, this is still not resolved. Amazon customer service has disconnected calls and chats on me, and has had no useful assistance. I was told by Amazon customer service that they do not have replacement chargers and that I would have to call Carrera to try to get another charger from them. I was hung up on by customer service, I find it really hard to believe they do not have chargers and even more hard to believe that policy allows the representatives to pass off the problem to Carrera . I have the extended warranty also.

Very good functionality and looks. Nose bridge measurements inaccurate
I have a wide nose bridge and got these based on a measurement that I know works for my nose. But they don’t fit properly. I had to buy separate padding to make them stay well positioned on my face while I walk. That padding had to be custom cut to fit, and it’s now fallen off twice. It’s fixable but annoying. Otherwise, these work very well for both music and phone calls, and they look really premium too. Just be mindful of the nose bridge measurements, and if they don’t fit comfortable after you walk, return them early.

Very stylish and functional
I’m very impressed with this version of smart frames. The partnership with Carrera also works. The sunglasses look great and nobody can tell they are anything other than regular sunglasses while I’m wearing them. Here are a few impressions after a couple of weeks of wearing them: Audio: sound quality is very good. It lacks bass when compared to AirPods Pro but you are not wearing anything in your ear, which is very nice. At mid volume, nobody around you can hear music or your calls. If you put at full volume, people about 3 ft away can hear a faint sound. 8/10 Call quality: just like the audio above, the quality is very good. The mic is clear and it filters ambient sounds better than my AirPod Pros. Given this is also an Alexa device, that’s good news. 10/10 Functionality: I must say, I can’t work the buttons on the frame too well (big fingers) but I’m yet to need them. You put the glasses on and they just work. If you need to adjust anything like volume, you just ask Alexa. It controls your phone, opening certain apps. More functional than Siri with AirPods. I was able to make/change appointments, get directions, calls people and get answers using just voice. 10/10 Privacy: I’m glad Amazon didn’t go the Meta/Rayban route and kept this without cameras. I’d not like to walk around with a camera pointed to everyone. When the mic is recording voice, you see a blue light on the corner of your eye. Very nice to check when it’s on, without being intrusive. While it has a mute button for Alexa, I’m yet to consistently find it while I’m wearing the glasses. 9/10 Charging: it comes with a very weird looking wireless stand. It takes a could of tries to figure out how to out the glasses on it. It’s nice charging is all wireless, it works for hours (with calls and listening to music) without need to recharge (I have not done a full battery life test yet). I wish it had a more mainstream charger but not a dealbreaker. 8/10 Quality: I got the Carrera version and it’s a very high quality and stylish product. It fits nicely, lightweight, and looks the part. 10/10 Overall: given the price, quality and functionality, I’d give this a 9/10.

Pretty mid smart glasses.
I owned these for a while and lost them. The look is my favorite, but the audio quality is piss-poor. Also, regardless of how I changes the settings in my phone, it would always take over my car audio when I got in. None of my other smart glasses did that.

Charging solution
I bought these for my husband. I was going to return the product due to charging issues. After positioning them a trillion times I found a sweet spot. I attached a picture to help guide you if you run into trouble. Basically lenses facing up , fold one stem and make sure the extended stem makes contact with the charger. Hope this helps. Side note the light look white in the picture but it is a solid orange 😊
