Well, it holds everything in place. Pretty great after the old snip snip. Haven’t worn it playing ball, just during ball recovery. It’s light and didn’t seem to get all out of wack in the washer.

This is the second one of these cup holders I have purchased for hockey. The previous one is still going strong but needed an extra as I play multiple times a week. The waist elastic is very wide and pretty compfortable and the leg elastics are not too tight. The previous one has been used at least 100 times without elastic failure, so definitely a good value for the money if you need a cup holder.

Based on the product image and some reviews, I was worried this wasn't going to be the same quality as the version included with the cup. What I received was identical. Fit, comfort, and quality are what I expected. This has worked very well for sparring, with no discomfort or drift, even after over an hour of training.

I own spider guard, Diamond MMA, and McDavid supporters. I pair this supporter with Spider Guard cup which I have owned for 6 yrs. This goes well with Spider Guard cup. The top part of the spider guard cup seems to jut out of the supporter holster a tiny bit, but due to the elastic bandage the cup stays in place and does not seem to be an issue at all. I find that the fit is just right with this supporter: not to tight or too loose. I use this mainly for BJJ and would recommend this product to anyone. With the other supporters I own, I would rank this a litter higher than McDavid, as McDavid is just a tad bit loose. The others such as spider guard supporter and Diamond would be ranked below this in terms of quality and fitness. The quality of spider guard is cheap as the stitching unravels easily, and the fit of the Diamond supporter is just too tight and does not give any wiggle room down there which makes it a little uncomfortable. Overall all I really like Shock Doctor supporter and would highly recommend this product

Fits as intended

I really, really like this in combination with a shock doctor cup. This is way, way better than the product I was using before. I am on the line between medium and large, being 5'9" and 160, and I went with a medium size because I wanted this to be pretty snug for Krav Maga / Muay Thai / Boxing training, and it fits great. The cup I use is the steel one and it's a bit heavier, but this keeps it right in place. Read the label and hand-wash immediately and allow it to air-dry after use and I don't think it'll fall apart like some other reviewers have witnessed. You just need to take proper care of it and it'll last. I'll update if I have problems with it later, but I think I am going to order 1-2 more so I don't have to wash every other day or so. Great product.

If there were actually other options for a decent price I would try them. Unfortunately, it does seem like shock doctor has the cup & strap department locked down. These absolutely do not last with daily wear. I bought for my husband because he works at a prison, so he fights a lot, first one didn't even last 6 months of daily wear. Elastic wore out and tears started forming. I looked for other options but not much available. So, I ordered a set of 2 more with the expectation they will also not last.
