Well engineered
This is a really great product. It comes with a short cord so no more long cords to deal with. It allows you to use the plug above or below where it's plugged in. It works great and easy set up.

Really great purchase
I have an Alexa in every room and love to use them through the whole house. I had a spot in my laundry room that was the perfect spot for this wall plugged Alexa. It’s awesome! Tucked away out of site but always willing to listen and deliver. I am going to put one a main bath next as it totally hides all wires and offer a clean and neat look!

Be sure you have the right Echo
This unit comes with a specially-designed power block to drive the Echo. It has a very special cord that connects the block with the Echo, and you need to pay attention to how the small echo plug is inserted. I found it offered a bit of resistance, and I didn't want to break anything, but by studying the way the plug actually is inserted into the Echo, I just pushed a little harder and at a slightly different angle, and it popped right in. No problems after that. I like the way it hangs from the outlet. It does require the use of the upper outlet if you still want to plug something into both, but that seems a minor design issue. It works well. I've had it in service for about a month without problems.

Great Design, looks just like the picture. Could be priced lower.
I spent one morning looking on Amazon for the ideal Dot holder and decided on this one. I read most of the reviews. Some say it looks cheap. It's white plastic, it looks like the picture. There was no shocking disconnect when it arrived. It looks far better than having my Dot on the kitchen counter and an annoying wire there as well. I was more concerned about the design of some of the others that have the Dot hanging from an outlet either vertically or horizontally. I don't think it's a good idea to hang something with weight from an outlet. Hang your purse over your wrist, and then hang it closer to your shoulder. The strain is felt more the further the weight is away from the base. I see that being a bigger factor than the sheen on the plastic. I don't want something, particularly plastic, bending or sagging over time because the weight is further away from the base. I also don't want to have to replace my outlet because the holes get loose over time from having weight hang off them. I'm not engineer, but I'm assuming some physics major can explain this. So this holder fit the bill. It is a snug fit in the outlet, it's not going anywhere. Not sure what some are saying about it not picking up your voice. Mine operates exactly the same. And the sound is the same. I don't use mine to play music, because the Dot isn't good for that anyway. If you want to play music in your kitchen, get the new wireless countertop Peachtree DeepBlue3 speaker that is coming out this month. I gave it 4 stars because of the price. I am a little familiar with a design to manufacture process. This prototype (if planned correctly) was created in China, and is manufactured in China. Yes, it is a great design. But it didn't take a rocket scientist to create it. It's a revised version of the cup holder. Having some idea of costs to manufacture a 1-piece plastic holder, including labor/injection molding/design/materials, this thing is overpriced. I can appreciate a seller trying to maximize profits, but the trade-off is one of my stars. The other trade-off will be that while I do like it, I'm going to wait for the price to come down or for another less expensive similar design, before I outfit the remaining Dots in my house. So if you want your counter space back, I think this is the best choice. I do wish it was a few dollars less.

Simple, smart, well made & a good solution.
This is a pretty good idea & device. It works very well & holds a Dot up nicely. It does leave the lower outlet mostly free for small plugs to use it, but if you have a side by side quad outlet plate like I have in the location I use it, you will block off most of it & manage to only squeeze other plugs in. Not a deal breaker for me though, just an FYI. If you want a simple mount that hides it away & has no long wires, get this one, it is simple & works well. I am happy, as are the rest of the family. I get no compensation for reviews so you get the truth as I see it, good, ugly or indifferent.

Lasted less than 1 year
It lasted less than 1 year. My Echo Dot still works fine when powered by another USB plug. When in the mount, the top of the power adapter that touches the bottom of the Echo Dot has a light brown area that looks like a burnt out board that tried to melt the plastic cover. Interestingly when I try the little USB 90 degree cable that comes with it, this also does not work when powered by an Amazon USB plug. Shame as I did like using this for the time it worked. Cheap landfill plastic.

Perfect!
I found an ancient Echo Dot in a box during a recent move and wanted to use it but couldn’t find the power cable. My friend showed me this mount which comes with a power cable integrated into the mount system. I ordered it and was able to setup my device without issue. Very happy with the functionality, and the white blends into my kitchen perfectly. I would definitely recommend this.

Great Solution!
This little bracket is just about perfect. Gets your dot off the counter and gets rid of the excess cord. Seems sturdy enough. You might now want it on a low outlet if you have big dogs or something, but in our bathroom its perfect. The only issue we've had is, while it does leave the other outlet open, if you are trying to use something with a large power supply like a hairdryer, it won't fit. I have an older dot that this is on and I just ordered 2 of the new ones for the 3rd gen dots we just ordered. Very happy with this purchase.

Because of some upgrades I made on other Echo products, one of my Gen2 Dots was being retired into bathroom duty. Of all the wall mounts I could find, all of them were a mess design wise. The thing I really like about this wall mount is that it's well thought out. Because the included power adapter and custom cable were designed in conjunction with the mount, they were able to make the cleanest design. The cable, for the most part, is tucked away and not noticeable. While the unit does take up a fair bit of space, you can fit in a normal plug underneath. A wall wart AC adapter, however, will not fit below it. For me, that's not an issue, but it is something to keep in mind. The only con for me is the price. It's a little pricey, but I guess the premium is a small price to pay considering how bad the alternatives look.

Works well, Easy to set-up

Keeps my Alexia devise up off the counter and eliminates the unsightly cord from view. We use it in the kitchen so the Alexia ends up at counter height. Not sure if this work work as well in all rooms where the plugs are closer to the ground and often covered behind a piece of furniture.

Cool idea, looks good on the wall, without wires hanging everywhere. I have two issues with it however: 1) The mount goes too far below the power plug and won't allow you plug in a wall wart for charging another device, although regular cords do fit. 2) The way the device plugs in, it doesn't feel exceptionally tight. You can move it fairly easily on the wall. It does have a plastic ground, but I'd have expected a sturdier mount.
