Best solution we have found for avoiding ear infections.
I am using this product with my five year old daughter who has previously suffered with frequent air infections. I couldn't believe the amount of stuff that came out of her nose even though we were trying to blow it constantly. Each day there was less mucus and after 5 days we were able to stop. So happy for her to not have to have another round of antibiotics! I would recommend parents have a game plan (bribery) as having water go up your nose is a weird sensation, even for an adult. Her dad and I both did it first and then we used an egg timer to make it a race. I would also suggest doing it in the shower - less mess and I think it just breaks up a lot of the congestion before use. My family will continue to use it to avoid more ear infections. My husband gets allergies and he has used it a couple of times and found it great.

Love it
I've been using a traditional neti pot for years, and I am shocked at how much better the Nasopure bottle is. The pressure cleans the sinuses better and faster. I also purchased one for my daughter. Nasopure is much easier for kids to use than a neti pot. The saline packets are far too expensive. I use the Waterpik ones that also have the cylinder shaped packaging instead.

First time user- I liked it, but maybe use 1/2 pack salt on kids?
Never used a netipot before so can’t compare. I bought this for son (age 5) who has allergies but mistakenly thought two bottles came with it and I really needed it myself for a cold so I tried it first to show him. I liked it. It’s a heck of a lot easier than sniffing water from your cupped hand! Haha! But seriously, definitely boil the water first then let it cool. Be careful it’s cool enough as upon third and fourth rinse from first bottle my nasal cavity became irritated from eaither the heat or the accumulated salt. I will be using half the salt pack for him first time we use this, as the whole pack may be too strong. Want him to have a good experience the first time. He’s not too keen on trying it even after watching me do it and laugh. Instructions recommend no sharing bottles but can’t see the harm if it is thoroughly washed between uses.

Love it!
Love this nasal irrigation bottle! I've been doing a nasal wash everyday now (almost) for about 5 years. I had sinus surgery in 2011 and my ENT prescribed for me to do nasal irrigation everyday as a follow up. It does'nt really block allergic response so much, so I still have to take a few meds for that, but, it really improves the way the sinuses feel. For example, in addition to rinsing out stubborn mucus, it relieves that dry, stuffy feeling that a lot of people experience. Also, just to mention, I've done the Neti pot, and I didn't enjoy that method very much. Also, I like the kids size (4 oz), because the pointed top fits my nose a lot better. For some reason, the adult pointed top doesn't fit well for me.

A bit expensive for what you get...
I've had this rig for about a month now and use it about once a day. Like many, I have allergies and this rig does help... however, the bottle is thin plastic, and basically, has a top that resembles a dish detergent top. (In fact, I don't see any difference) My main gripe about this rig, is that the pop top, pops closed sometimes while you are irrigating even under slight pressure. (In other words, if you put too much pressure while trying to seal the bottle against your nostril, the cap may close on you). The marketing pitch claims you don't have to tilt your head. This is bunk if you want to be able to use all of the solution in the bottle. You will still need to tilt your head. (Frankly, this is no big deal) As far as cost, for what you get, 20 bucks is too much. In fact, it's a rip off for what is essentially a dish detergent bottle. Don't buy the packet/refills... they are a ripoff too! Instead, here is how to save some $$$ on the "solution" Mix your own (this will fit into the bottle as the bottle I have is 8 ounces or 1 cup) 1 cup water 1/2 tsp Sea Salt 1/2 tsp Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)

Kids can do this one unassisted
This is the one for kids. My 4 year old is prone to ear infections. With her last illness I was determined to prevent it. This is the third nasal salaine device that I tried and for a child was the best. The teapot caused tears and frustration. I showed her how to use this one on myself and she was able to duplicate, no problem. She now requests to do it daily for fun! We call it the nose squirter. And I think we dodged the ear infection this time!

This nasal wash and company are FANTASTIC!!!
We ordered the small/travel size for my 10-year-old who has sinus issues and breathing trouble. We have tried inhalers, allergy meds, nothing worked. The first week we had a hard time getting the right hold for this wash and so I contacted the company. Dr. Hana herself not only emailed me but took the time to call me and chat to figure out why my 10-year-old wasn't getting the rinse to come out the other nostril. I don't know any company these days that actually cares and believes so much in helping others with their product that they take the time to work with you to find out a solution to your challenge. Thank you Dr. Hana!!!!
