This is so loud my ears were ringing after briefly testing it. Really good little gadget. Very light and portable, but also useful for keeping at home in case you hear intruders during the night.

I bought my daughter a couple of personal alarms when she was going to London on placement for a couple of weeks. The other was too large ( I didn't check the size) but this one was small and could be kept handy easily so this one was the one she took. Although it's small, it's pretty loud. Result was peace of mind for me and no nagging (from me) for her!

I very effective personal alarm. This pink key ring packs a hefty alarm sound should it be activated. The four batteries are included and are the cell batteries LR41. To activate, simply pull out the pin and it will set off a two tone alarm. I shall carry this in my bag, or even lend to people who may need it in the future. It would be really good for teenagers, the elderly, when visiting places at night, whilst alone in your car or walking in areas that are a bit dodgy! It would certainly draw attention to a possible attack or mugging. But it would certainly scare off even burglars if you're at home alone and heard intruders trying to enter your property. I think the sound would put most people off. This little alarm would certainly give you some protection and make you feel a little bit safer.

Everyone needs one. I bought this in aid for breast cancer. It's lovely and very discreet.

Looks good and durable, havent had to use it yet, hopefully wont have too but have it just in case.

After 13 months, I tested this item as my wife has it in her handbag. It did not go off so I assumed batteries dead, I opened the battery case...and one of the small batteries exploded (yes, exploded!). I got in touch with Amazon CS to explain but was directed to the manufacturer even though the purchase was direct with Amazon. No refund or replacement issued, I don't have time to contact a 3rd party, sadly not impressed this time :( Sadly cannot recommend the item, even more worrying is after such a short period of time one would expect an alarm to work, especially one which needs to be reliable.

This is a good idea but there are some flaws and issues that concern me. First it comes in bubble packaging you have to destroy to open, a pet hate of mine and completely unnecessary. Also it has the National Breast Cancer Foundation logo and the packaging states that a donation will be made for every device sold but not what form of value that donation is. I would like to know how the charity benefit from this product? The Alarm is like a key fob and be attached to a key ring, jacket or bag where it could act as a deterrent. To activate it, you grasp the body of the device and pull down which separates it from the chain and sets off the alarm. After use the chain can just be re-inserted and pressed into place which turns off the alarm. It requires 4 x LR44 batteries which are installed and activated by pulling out a plastic tab. These are not common batteries and there is no indication of their state. When tested the unit did make a reasonable high pitched sound but I was disappointed by the volume despite being rated at 110 Decibels. Also it soon flagged as the batteries wore down reducing it to a whimper. The instructions talk about testing the device regularly but these are not high capacity batteries and can fail quite quickly. I may have had a dodgy set but this did not inspire confidence and I am concerned the device may be low on batteries when it is most needed. While this is a good idea I do think a more standard battery with a greater capacity and a way of confirming its charge would be a major improvement and inspire greater confidence.

Great product. Light weight and discrete. I have it on my keychain for when I go for walks by myself with my baby. Tested it at home and it’s very loud, also not easy to pull the chain by mistake which is what I wanted.

I attached it to my pepper spray which I clip to the interior you know that water bottle area of every car door - so when I open the car people see the spray or if I need the spray it’s at arms length. That way it’s a double deterrent - if the sound doesn’t scare someone away, the spray follows.

Very poor battery and less sound
