High school drama abound❤️
Ramsay Williams has recently arrived in Pine River and just wants to lay low, attract as littleattention as possible, and finish out her senior year after being forced to leave Cedar Valley.Which is easier said than done, when you have the Maroney triplets as cousins. The tripletsare at the top of the school hierarchy, making it pretty much impossible for Ramsay to stayout of sight. The head honcho and all round bad boy is the unattainable Scout, who shedislikes upon sight. Scout Raiden is an MMA fighter, with eyes on going pro and keepingfocus off of his past and his family. The two collide and sparks fly, and despite their mutual hatred, they agree to be enemieswith benefits because denying the attraction is just making their lives more complicated.Tijan’s characters are always so tough and such warriors, they are fierce and can handlethemselves in any situation. The triplet cousins were absolutely fabulous and here's hopingthey are going to get themselves their own story.A great read! Teenage melodrama at its finest! A Tijan book just draws me in and I loveevery stepping stone of the story. Pine River was no exception. I got sucked in right from thestart.❤️💋💖📚

Brilliant, Tijan does it again!
Amazing. Couldn’t put he book down I was gripped and enticed the whole way through as the story evolves. Tijan flawless creates strong characters, with great dynamic between them. You become invested in finding out about the characters . The plot keeps you on your toes, flows well. I really enjoyed reading this book.

omg where do i start..
This was remarkable. After being in a book slump for a couple of weeks I picked this on the back of someone’s bad review! Let me say that 3* review was completely wrong! This book had me LOL literally and ugly crying. Such an emotional roller coaster and was soooo needed. Hope to see more of the extras in their own books especially the Maroney Triplets!! Amazing!

Not my fave from tijan
I've read a few books by this author now and I love all of them, I liked this one well enough but u like some others, the writing in this came across.. immature? I dont know what to phrase it as exactly except to say all throughout the book, there were these little moments between characters that almost didn't make sense and there was so much effort put into describing each micro feeling and translating it to others that it took away from the book for me, I didnt fully get on board with both mcs and connect because I barely felt that connection, they were so stiff around each other except when they wanted to 'get it out their system' that I didnt feel like we saw growth as a couple, u til the very end, and I mean the last ten percent where we start to see the feelings a bit, then because he has to go , realises he loves her and what do ya know? She does too. It just seemed a jump from where they were, it couldve been blended Into the story gradually, but alas, like I said, there was too much translating of feelings and aeco dary character stuff going on for it to he really delved into. On that note, that was my other issue with this book, I'm a big fan of secondary characters, but this had too many, or at least it focused on too many inconsequential things/people. One of them being Kira. After thinking about her, there really was no reason for her to exist in this. That whole so.ewhat friendship with ramsay/ hate with Theresa didnt add to anything, it just stretched the story thin, il say the same for this kunz guy, I can only assume another story might link these people but it just wasn't necessary, also it never got tied up who scouts dad was and what happened there. Probably not necessary but thats what stories tend to do when they introduce potential baggage with characters. I'm pretty sure he was the guy who got Macon away at the fight but thats just my opinion. All in all it was my kind of read, but yeah, fell a little flat because if I really think about it, other than past traumas on her side and a controlling parent on his, there wasn't much of a story except them getting together and the bond with her cousins. Which was nice and funny to read.

Ok if you're young!
Some YA novels can have appeal to all ages, but this isn't one of them. If you're 16 to 21 then this is for you - good writing, lots of angst etc., but if you're older than that... then no, the characters' are too immature.

Fresh and new, brilliant story
I've read nearly all of this authors books and I have to say this one was brilliant. I didn't think I could love a character as much as I did Mason from one of her other books. But damn you can't help but fall in love with, Scout and Ramsey's story. I really hope the author publishes more from pine river. Scout is tied along with Mason from her fallen crest series as my favourite character. Can't wait to see what other stories come from this amazing author. Everyone needs to check out her books .highly recommended 10/10⭐Review on behalf of BLOGLMEVANS

Loved this book! ❤️
Ahhhh! I read this entire story in one sitting, that’s how excited I was to dive into this fabulous new Tijan sports romance novel. I seriously couldn’t put it down!🥊❤️ “Pine River” is absolutely going down as one of my top reads of 2023!I have been waiting for this book to be available in print since I read the first chapter Tijan shared via newsletter. I can now happily confirm that the full book lived up to my expectations and more! 😁📖The dynamic between main characters, Ramsay and Scout, leaves you wanting more after (and during) every chapter. 😩💕 This angsty, romantic, and incredibly emotionally charged romance, was truly breathtaking. The obstacles the two characters faced along the way just made their happy ending all the sweeter, not to mention the fact that they came out all the more strengthened and bonded because of them. ❤️Tijan is and always will be a must read author for me, and this book is a perfect example of why that is. She depicted a perfect balance of strengths and vulnerabilities in these characters, giving them real life emotions, pains, heartaches and struggles. A truly fantastic job of making these characters come alive on the page. Plus, the chemistry between Ramsay and Scout was present from the first moment they shared a page! Such a brilliant combination! I just finished the book and I’m already missing these characters! 😩🥰Although, I’ll be honest, any book and or character Tijan writes will automatically be absolutely phenomenal in my mind!Like I said before, I more than enjoyed every word of this book and couldn’t put this story down from the second I received it. It has absolutely lived up to the utter perfection that usually encompasses all of this author’s other work! An absolutely engrossing masterpiece! 👌🏻❤️Long story short, Tijan (once again) did such a fantastic job and I cannot wait for my physical copy of “Pine River” to arrive in the mail! I absolutely need to have this masterpiece physically reside on my beloved bookshelf. ☺️Love, love, love this book, and love, love, love this author! No surprise, “Pine River” gets five very well deserved stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“I didn’t know I could love until I fell in love with you.”
Some new adult romances are filled with silly immaturity and childish theatrics, but some are done well, with authentic angst and relatable drama. Then there's Tıjan's new adult, which is in a class by itself.Ramsey Williams is the new kid at Pine River High. She badly needed a fresh start, so Ramsey and her mother moved to Pine River, the same town where her cousins live. She's grown even closer to the triplet brothers, and it helps knowing they have her back as she navigates the new school and its social hierarchy. The one thing she never anticipated was Scout Raiden, the best friend of her cousin, Alex.Scout is the guy every girl wants to be with and every guy wants to be. His promising career as a fighter working his way into the MMA makes him popular, but he ignores the hype and pretty much keeps to himself. And he has a strict rule about not getting involved with any of the girls at school, although Ramsey makes him want to not just break that rule, but annihilate it.If you’ve never read this gifted wordsmith’s stories, you’re in for a treat. These characters are vivid and life-like, with all their flaws and vulnerabilities conspicuously on display, making them relatable and empathetic. They'll seem like someone you know personally as you laugh with them, cry with them, and feel everything alongside them. Then there's the story itself, which is fabulous. Elaborate, complex, nuanced, and multi-layered, it was impossible to put this one down! At times sweet and funny, then heart-wrenching and devastating, and finally inspiring and triumphant, this is a captivating, masterful, extraordinary romance that you absolutely won’t want to pass up!

what a ride!
loved once more another story from this author. Felt there was more of the author in this one perhaps, and certainly got to me as well. The topics in this book are universal, and I especially enjoyed the exceptionally tight-knit family and support group of the main heroine.A great read once again, please keep them coming. 🙏🏻 Saved my month, thank you!

Everything and more
This book is a masterpiece. It's basically a combination of everything I love about Tijans stories. It's gutwrenching reading about what Ramsay went through, the heaviness of everything Scout is carrying on his shoulders. The way they first meet and get to know eachother... The dynamic of the triplets is hilarious.I was laughing out loud, crying and cursing while reading this book. I was barely able to put it down and just had to continue Reading it.All in all I can just say... Tijan did it again. It most definitly is one of her best books and I'm already looking forward to my reread!
