Inspirational read
"Still me" provides an excellent and detailed account of Christopher Reeve's battle in dealing with a terrible tragedy, but then bouncing back and refusing to let it define his life. Christopher takes us through a compelling account of his life after the accident and describes to us in detail all of the challenges he has faced. The imagery of "Superman in a wheelchair" is heart rendering at first, but when you see the courage and determination Christopher Reeve has demonstrated, you realise that this man does not need our sympathy but our respect. He really brings new meaning to the phrase, "Let's turn this frown upside down".A truly great read that humbles, entertains and inspires. R.I.P. Christopher Reeve.

Hope
As a superman fan, I've asked myself the question how does someone who's the epitome of supreme fitness deal with the irony of being paralysed - I thought the situation must be hopeless. On the contrary Christopher Reeve's book is full of inspiration and positivity, in overcoming adversity. What a remarkable man he was and what a legacy he has left us in this book and his acting and directing career. His being in the world has made a real difference to me, for one, never mind the rest of his audiences.

A humble read
This is a fabulous book, like most people i moan and get fed up with hum drum life, but how blessed i feel to (a) to have my health and (b) to be grateful for what i've got in life, which could be all the luxury, money, and fame mr reeve had, but he couldn'nt buy his broken body back, this is such a well written book so sad, but he was brave til the end.

A sad story as now we know the ending
hard to believe Christopher Reeve was paralysed when this book was written he was such a strong character rarely losing hope of regaining the ability to walk, always trying something new to help himself and the book reflects his strong determined nature. A sad story as now we know the ending...one which proves that we have to live for today.

This is the only book which makes you feel that ...
This is the only book which makes you feel that you know exactly how the author feels. It is heartbreakingly honest and this man is truly a brave man to write with such honesty. Chris does not gloss over the horror of his disability or his desperation/loss of a previous life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The story of a very brave man
If you have had a broken neck but it was not a severe break - you will appreciate how lucky you were. This is the well told true story about the riding accident which resulted in which Christopher Reeve's devastating fracture of his cervical spine. He was very unlucky and very brave.

Still Me
I loved to see Chsistopher Reeves films on the cinema screen and when we lost him that was so tragic , I think he was an amazing man and to be able to read what he went through was so sad for such an athletic man .
