I bought as our new rug was slipping around on hardwood floor. This has always been a problem but new rug was worse than past ones. The result is excellent. The rug is now so firmly stuck to the floor that even playing tug against my dog doesn't move it. (We don't play tug with the rug. On the rug with her favourite tug toy). The premium underlay is supposed to add cushioning too. I would say the effect is pretty minimal. The main benefit is now the rug is firmly fixed in place.

Works well, not quite as good as previous one I purchased (think i got supplier mixed up) but to fair the rug is staying in place so doing the job !

I like this product that is supplied in up to 300cm lengths - needed for runners. It holds rugs firm on wooden floors, so stops slipping, and does not mark the wood at all. A 'gripper' is not needed for all my rugs but the premium version also acts as an underlay making the rugs feel so much nicer to walk on, so I use it anyway. So simple to measure and cut to size.

I never leave reviews but this gripper keeps our new Afghan rug firmly in place and doesn’t move whatsoever even when the dog is playing or rubbing his head against the rug. Highly recommended and glad I paid more for something that actually works! Also provides some cushion support.

I am really disappointed. I ordered this 'preminim' rug pad in the specific size it was listed as expecting that it would be that size but it is NOT! It comes in two pieces which makes it really difficult to lay. I don't think the overall size is what it is advertised as. I have bought many of these rug pads and never had them come in two parts. I only wish I had sent it back rather than make do.

It does what it needs to do and easy to move around

Easy to trim,if necessary, and provided an excellent non-slip grip for the rug on a wooden floor. Essential piece of equipment when there are young children running about the house.
