Wood Silk Organic Non Aerosol Cream 250ML

This product is easy to apply, smells great and leaves a lovely sheen on wood. Excellent.

I usually use the spray wood polish of this brand but have struggled to find it. Saw this non aerosol type and decided to give it a go thinking it would smell the same as the spray. It doesn't. It has a very strong smell to me, one that is so strong it made me feel nauseated. It has a strong almondy type smell with a chemical overtime. It also hung around for days. I have quite a bit of wood furniture & I made the mistake of going around and polishing all of it one go. I had to open all the windows and doors in an attempt to clear the smell. It helped but as soon as I closed them it began to build up again. I found it so unpleasant that I could not sit in the lounge that evening. It took about two days for the smell to disappear to a level that I could tolerate and then a further day for it to disappear completely. Sadly I will not be able to use this product again. It terms of it's performance I thought it was brilliant. It looks to have really fed and cleaned my wood. It doesn't sink in immediately but once it does, after a buff, it leaves a matt finish on mat wood and a shine on my higher shine items. My husband and children also noticed the smell but didn't find it as awful as me. Perhaps I am just very sensitive to something within this polish.

An all round excellent speedy service. The product is super, easy to apply and protects all our wood furniture really well.

Iove the polish - we have antique funrniture and used Stephenson's until they stopped producing a few years ago - but only gave 4 stars as there is no nice smell after use plus the plastic top which dispenses the wax keeps coming off which means that too much is coming out at once and if tempted to shake which I am you loose more than you actually use and it's very messy. This has happened with every other can I have purchased but can't find anything I like better.

Actually pretty smelly - I was hoping it would smell-free! Not sure about its eco credentials, I would probably do BioD next time.
