Best add on to my incubator
I have used incubators of all kinds over the years. large commercial units and hatchers, old metal unit, small styrofoam. A few years ago I bought a farm innovations incubator. came with a turner and candling light.Seemed good but had a heating element and no fan. The control was mediocre at best. I had some very poor results with hatches in the 50% area. This spring after a frustrating experience of controlling the heat I purchased the Incukit mini, since I was in the middle of a goose egg hatch I didn't take much time to install the kit. I am not satisfied with the way the installation looks but it is functional. The best thing I have ever bought! We had a highly successful hatch on the goose eggs with 15 of 15. I also ran a batch of chicken eggs through it. 15 of 15 eggs here as well. I believe that the almost perfect temp control along with the forced air fan providing a very even heat. Can't wait to run pheasant eggs through in the spring.

Quality compact and efficient heater!
It performs as advertised. I'm using is for my Epax x10 3d printer to keep it above 90 degrees.Setup was easy with cutting a few holes for the screws and control panel. The size of this heater is very nice and takes up very little space in the print chamber.I ended up needing to flip the fan around so it would blow the heat, but that was simple with almost no hassle at all.Overall I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a good and efficient way of keeping you resin printer at a constant temp.

Works as advertised, but check what wattage you need before buying!
5 stars since this works exactly as advertised. I will, though, be returneing this product. I just thought that 40Watts was enough for my purpose and it was not. I was trying to heat a AnyCubic Mono X 3D Resin Printer, but 40 Watts wasn't enough for my cold garage which gets to the 40s during the winter. I was able to measure only a 17 degree (F) difference between the printer and the garage before the temp leveled off and the heater stayed on without any further temp increase. BTW, I measured 52 Watts of power draw, so the heater is probably 40 watts and the fan/electronics draw the additional 12 watts.Buyer beware : check to ensure that 40 watts is enough for your application! You have to pay shipping for this item (it's not prime) so it's a waste of time & money if 40 watts isn't enough for you.

3D printers need heat too
I am actually using this to heat the interior of an Epax X10 printer as the resin needs to be within a certain temperature range to cure properly. It is doing a much better job of heating up the resin in the print chamber than I expected. Very pleased.

Works Great as a 3D Resin Printer Heater
Added an incukit mini heater and fan to the inside of my Epax X1-K 3D resin printer. The incukit is offset from the side and held by magnets that allow easy removal and temperature adjustment. Installed a switch on the side and plug port in the back for the original incukit plug. A segment of cable and an angled 2.5mm male jack connects the incukit to the switch and plug port inside. I can put the resin in the vat, turn the heater on, monitor the interior and ambient temp with a small accurate indoor/ outdoor wireless thermometer. Different resins have an ideal temp and high viscosity resins require the most heat for the best printed results.

Would advise not to buy
Product is trash claims to be set at 99.5 but temperature stays at 103+ and they also claim Temps are adjustable but temperature doesn't move when I adjust it. And don't even bother trying to call customer service/technical support they won't answer the phone they just give you the option to leave a voice mail.

Terrible heating algorithm
I bought this to use in a resin 3d printer to keep my chamber temperature high for certain resins. The issue is this heater is programmed with a weird PID algorithm that makes holding a constant temperature near impossible. I talked with support and the "Set Temp" function is nearly useless, you need to use a combination of other settings in order to achieve your desired temperature. (Ctrl Ofs, Ctrl Rng and OSPslope)For instance, I have my temperature set to 90F. The ambient temp is 75F. I plug the heater in and close the lid and let it heat. The temperature reaches 90.6F, slightly over the set temperature, but no big deal. The issue comes when the ambient temp rises. If the ambient temp rises to 80F, the heater will now heat to 91.5F, 85F will be 92.8F. This is kind of ridiculous. The heater is over heating the chamber by 3F, and ambient temp is lower than the set temp. I was hoping to get an actual PID temperature controller, with PID values I could set, but it seems like a half baked way was integrated to control the temperature. Also, out of the box you cannot change the set temp option and have it work. It is set at 99.5F. If you drop it to anything below that the temperature will still be at 99.5F. You need to change another option that is set at 98.5F (Ctrl Ofs option)

Keeps the heat on for as long as you set it
I purchased two of these to use inside of some liquid resin 3D printers in order to print in a cooler environment. I cannot say enough about these heaters. They simply work and quite well at that. They are very easy to program. They retain the settings and work at those settings whenever I plug the power back on. As I get more printers for my business, so I will get more IncuKits.
