I am happy
I am happy because i se that my husband enjoys his bike. My husband was looking for this kind of a bike for a bit longer time now. He is a truck driver and he wanted this bike when he have extra time between jobs or waiting for hour reset. He made order from someone else on August 2. 2020 and never received til I decided to go after that purchase and charge from his cc. Money was returned after 3 months of waiting. Well i could of choose so easy Christmas gift for him. This bike arrived faster than promised. Ever since he got the bike he is using and riding like happy child, sometimes twice a day and apx 18 miles a day. I would suggest to everyone to get if they are looking for something like this that doesn’t take space or like to have while going to the camping. I guess folding is not problem either because hubby didn’t complain yet

An in-depth review
updated on July 31, 2017:The seller 2ksilver asked me to produce a video clip to show proof that the bikes front derailleur system is broken. I think pictures with English description could do a better job for this case. Below is the evidence and explanation. Picture 7th shows a broken front derailleur lever at the root of the cable insertion. The plastic connector was broken during the shipping. Originally, I thought it could be screwed back or glued back, but neither method worked. Picture 8th, the last one, shows after I disengaged the derailleur cable, adjusted the high-gear stop to the maximum, and pushed the pivot lever as far as it could go, the derailleur still could not move the chain to the proper position (short by a few centimeters as depicted by the orange and yellow lines. The orange arrow shows the gap and direction where the cage should be moved.I hope 2ksilver will agree to ship a working front derailleur set with video or instructions how to replace and install a new one. If not I will search the internet for instruction, purchase a front derailleur set and necessary tools to replace it myself. As I mentioned in my original post, the design of this bike is good, but other things let a bad review from me.-- older comments belowI bought the Columba 26” Folding Bike from 2Ksilver LLC in late February 2017. Due to the snow and cold raining weather, I did not have much chance to test ride it in the open until the last few weeks. The information listed below might help people to make selection of a 26” wheel folding mountain bike.[0] Service. 4 out of 5 --very good. I got a faulty break shift system, and the vendor shipped a new one within days and provided a video link that shows how to replace the break shift system.[1] Design. Rating 4.5 out of 5—very good. This bike has a very clean and functional design. (a) It has a low profile that helps to quickly put your feet down and stabilize the bike if needed. (b) the folding food-pedals (see Pics 1 &2) not only reduces the overall volume for storage, but also helps when pushing the bike alone the street or carrying it on the shoulder. (c) the quick release Headset (see Pic 3) of the handlebar system allows to reduce the volume for storage and make it easier to carry on the shoulder. (d) the small re-inforce tube (see Pic 4) between the Seat-post and Top-Tube can be used for the bike carrying by one hand. It also can be used to mount the bike onto a bike-repair-stand (although the diameter is a little small and padding is needed). (e) the bike-rest stand (see Pic 5) in folding position is functional.[2] Production Quality. 1 out of 5—very poor. The bike came with nothing tuned properly. The bike kickstand; the right and left breaks; the front and rear derailleurs and the chain guards for the rear cassette/gears/cogs and chain-ring all need to be adjusted before they can function properly. It also comes with a faulty front derailleur, which allows me to select only two out of the three chain-rings. I will discuss the quality issues in detail at the end of my review.[3] Parts. 3 out of 5--average. The components used by this bike are low, but is average quality for this price range. For instance, the derailleur tension adjustable parts (see Pic 6) are not the standard hexagon screws but nuts, which make tension adjusting a little challenge. I believe Columba could use some better parts and keeping the price low. The size and the weight of Steel-Alloy frame and handlebar system can be reduced significantly, say one half or even much more. This is a common problem for all bikes that cost less than a few thousand US dollars.[Production Quality Details]First, I noticed both the rear/right the break was not in the right places (the front/left break-system was broken during shipment). The pads brushed to the rim and must be re-adjusted.Second, the rear derailleur could change only 2 out of 6 gears. After adjusting, it could never go down to the lowest/smallest gear. It took me a few days to realize the culprit was the derailleur guard, which is to protect rear derailleur. The guard prevented the rear derailleur to move to the right most position, i.e. the smallest gear. After removing the guard and readjust the chain tension and the derailleur, the bike could fully utilize all 6 gears. Nevertheless, the chain will rub against the rear-gear guard which I could not make it went away.Third, the front derailleur could only utilize one out of two chain-rings (1 and 2, or 2 and 3), no matter how did I adjust it. It also took me many days and consulted with a bike shop technician to figured out I have a faulty front derailleur which could only retract and extend for a limited range. I hope 2KSilver will ship me a good one free of charge.Fourth, the bike kick-stand is terribly designed. My bike tipped over easily and could not park if the ground is not even or the left-side (the kick-stand side) is a little higher. The only correction is to pull the kickstand outward by force, which was what I did.Fifth, the innermost rear gear guard. The gap between the plastic gear guard and the largest gear is too close. The chain touch the guard when the chain is at the largest gear. Try many ways but failed to make the gap larger.[Improvement Opportunities](a) Redesign the steel-alloy parts to make them much lighter. This could truly distinguish this bike and others if Columba could do it right.(b) Put some friction pattern on the Headset—the same pattern used for seat-post will do. It helps to stabilize the handlebar system in the fix position even with external force.(c) Replace the nuts to the hexagon screws for the tension adjusting of the derailleurs.(d) Redesign the kickstand to make it adjustable or a larger inclining angle to park the bike easily(e) Redesign the rear gear guard or find a way to make the gap larger.I will certainly rate this bike 4 or higher if Columba could redesign some parts and make there quality control better.

Pretty great, No problems so far
Edit/Update: Topeak Extra Long Mounting Arms for Explorer and Tourist Rack -I replaced the kickstand. The kickstand was always very hard to put back up because of the design. I just kind of dealt with it, until recently when the kickstand bolt would not stay tight. When I would try and put the kickstand up it would be loose enough that it rotated and the stand would touch the rear tire spokes. I would tighten the bolt, but it kept coming loose (probably because the kickstand was so hard to get back up that the whole until was moving causing the loosening). I bought a new kickstand, BV Adjustable Bicycle Bike Kickstand with Concealed Spring-Loaded Latch, for 24-29 Inch Bicycles , and just recently installed it. I love it. Makes the bike even better.-I also have some cracking on my left handle. It's not a big deal and doesn't affect my bike riding at all.-Added a bike rack to it. I got the Ibera PakRak Bicycle Touring Carrier Plus+, Frame-Mounted for Heavier Top & Side Loads, Height Adjustable, Fender Board, for 26"-29" Frames and Ibera 2 in 1 Bike PakRak Insulated Cooler Trunk Bag, Bicycle Shopping Bag for Grocery, Hand/ Shoulder Bag , which works great for my needs. I had to buy extra long mounting arms to get the bike rack mounted to my bike though.-Still love it.Original Post:I bought this to get around campus faster, and for a little more exercise. I take the train to campus and then ride around campus with it so I have mainly used it for paved roads, with the roughest part being a short gravel road. I think the frame is a little shorter in terms of length, but I'm pretty short (5'2") and it suits me. I thought it was easy to put together, but I've put a few box-bikes together before. I usually keep it unfolded, but the folding part of it is really simple and useful for when the train is packed. I use a car rack for my bike only because it was easier for me and I had a rack already. This bike is rated for 200 lbs but with all the stuff I carry + my dog (who rides in a backpack) we're probably at 210-215 ish on a typical day. I know it's not much of a difference from the 200 rated weight but in case anyone was curious if it would hold up a little over the 200lbs, it will.Pros:-Easy to put together-Folding is easy-26" Wheels-Holding up well after using it daily / Sturdy-Speed shifter on right hand side-Resistance shifter on left hand side-It has rear eyelets if you want to add a rear frame mounted bike rack (although I'm not sure how much you could fold it if you have panniers)-Not really a pro or con, but both tires are bolted, not quick release.-Water bottle can be mounted to down post-Comes with a bell!Cons:-A little bit heavy if you need to hang your bike (35lbs)-The thickness of the down tube makes it so I can't mount certain things there (like my bike lock). As a result, it's kind of in an awkward place by my seat tube.-Also not a pro or con, but there is no top tube. So if you want to use a car mount you can use the triangles near the seat tube for one of the mount's arms. There is one small piece that either fell out of the box of parts or was free-floating. I almost didn't notice it, so just be sure to check the box and take everything out.

Light and easy to set up
I love my bike. I originally bought a bike rack for my Jeep but it was too difficult to install and hard to get the bike on and off. So I ordered this folding bike and love it! I can easily fold it with one click and am able to lift it up into the trunk of my car without putting the rear seats down. I leave it in the car and bike after work whenever the weather is good and I have time. I did buy a gel seat as I’m over 60 and need some comfort!
