So Pretty
This cabinet is very pretty and it feels solid. It was a little tricky to assemble. I would recommend 2 people, unless you have 4 arms. There ARE scratches on the glass in certain areas - which is very disappointing. But it wasn't enough for me to not want to keep it.

Not as stable as I expected
The shelf unit was easy enough to put together with 2 people but it is not very stable and the door has to be lifted and messed with to close it.

Just what we needed
We moved into our new home about a yearago. I decorated my daughtersroom in all pink and gold, very pretty. She isalso 11 years old, and into a lot of differentthings, like characters from movies and such.She also LOVES to qet my perfumes andmakes it her own, she never had the space forit so her dresser always looked jumbled witha whole bunch of everything on it, no matterhow neatly I organized it, it always lookedmessy, and drove me crazy. Until one day Idecided I was going to get a shelf for herroom because it was getting out of hand. Upon searching on Amazon I found thisbeautiful Glass Display Cabinet. It has 4shelves, and a door with a lock. The base andtop is wood, but the rest is glass. The set upwas fairly easy and it took my husbandaround an hour to put it together. After he set it up, I was so excited to get everythingorganized and displayed in the cabinet, andjust like I imagined, it turned out super cute!!!I was able to get her little trinkets in as wellas her stuffed animals and it actually looksvery nice. I love the way it looks, very elegantand blends well with her room decor I would recommend this display to anyone looking tohave a beautiful display case to haveeverything neatly and beautifully displayedIn.

Much better than expected
I was worried because many of the reviews indicated that this was very difficult to put together, and I am "mechanically disinclined". However, it went together with very little difficulty at all, if you have ever handled IKEA furniture then you can assemble this. It is much easier with two people. All of the pieces arrived undamaged, any blemishes on the glass from the packaging were insignificant and unnoticeable. I did not install the stabilizing strap, locking mechanism, feet, or magnetic closure, just not needed here for our setup.
