Double ball mounts like this are the ideal mount for cameras. Infinitely positionable but sturdy with a simple twist of the wrist. I've used them on handlebars before and this is is a great solution for mounting my office security camera.

Superior Quality – standard B size ball – but ... This is a super high quality ball camera mount kit. You get a complete kit with the double pivoting ball arm, a screw on wall mount base, and a ¼” -20 TPI male stud threaded Ball. This one inch double swivel ball camera mount system kit is a bargain for all its features. The double swivel ball allowed for a perfect aim of my standard mount attachment type ¼” -20 TPI Trail Camera. I did not have to hurt my fingers tightening the wing nut to make the clamp super secure. Some of the parts are made of strong metal except where a synthetic material is superior like inside the clamp arms.But … the ¼” -20 TPI male stud threaded Ball that mounts into your camera should have included a thumb wheel locking nut for extra tightness mounting security, and; to prevent the ¼” -20 male stud threads from protruding too far into your camera. For my Trail Camera the ¼” -20 threads did not protrude too far. You could ruin some camera if the ¼” -20 threads male stud protrudes too far, so you really need to use a spacer thumb wheel locking nut that should have been included.
