Drops temps 20-25C under heavy load, very effective on PCIe 5.0 drives!
This cooler helps keep my Samsung PCIe 5.0 drive nice and cool. With its insane speeds, it is important to keep it cool with a heatsink with a fan on it like this one, and this one keeps my drive between 33C and 40C depending on load and ambient temperature. It is very effective, compared to temps on the drive before I used this which went as high as 60C+ under load. It is easy to install and comes with heat pads for both sides of the drive. The fan noise is not bad, and it fit well in my ASUS Rog Z890-E motherboard's PCIe slots. Perfect cooler!

Good value, Cools very well, Tall but not too long or wide
Worked better than I could have hoped. I had a PCIE gen 4 drive that I thought may be overheating between my CPU and GPU. I could see it getting close to 70 C under heavy load at times. Purchased this and installed it and I have never seen it above 50 C since. I was worried it may be too big to fit next to my GPU but the width allowed it to fit well and despite being rather tall it was not a problem. Putting it together was easy just keep the tiny screw driver it comes with handy as I could not get a regular screw driver in to tighten down the retaining screw.

Heatsink works keep my M.2 drive cool, computer would randomly crash before using the heatsink.
Works on cooling M.2 drive, no more random crashes. Loud Fan, i don't use the fan i have it passively. It's bit big have to make sure you have space, Can Block heat-sinks, and PCI express slots depending on the M.2 location

Insane value! Works great!
I tore my house apart looking for a tiny screwdriver to mount my new SSD on my MSI B650 Pro WiFi board. Turns out, the “toolless” locking mechanism still needed tools. Thermalright actually included a small screwdriver in the box. Absolute lifesaver. As for performance, this heatsink does exactly what it should. It was easy to install, the fit is solid, and so far it’s keeping my WD SN7100 running super cool (hovering mid-20s °C). If you’re upgrading to a high-speed NVMe, this is the kind of accessory that gives you peace of mind.

High performance SSD coolers, a must-have for gen 5 drives!
These SSD coolers are amazing! I am running 2 gen5 SSD's in my latest build and noticed that the built-in motherboard heatsink for my primary drive (situated above the GPU and below the CPU) wasn't doing a great job at keeping the drive temps at bay, constantly sitting at 50c or more at idle. My secondary game drive below the GPU wasn't terrible, sitting in the mid 30c range but put one of these on it as well just for peace of mind. This instantly dropped my primary drive temp to about 30c idle, a 20c reduction in temp. I am running the fans on 70% constant speed. They aren't loud, but they are audible at 70-100% and I could hear it above my case fans at idle at 80%-100% so I decided to turn it down to 70% speed where the noise blends in nicely with the case fans and makes it virtually inaudible or at least does not increase the noise floor any further, I did not see an impact to temperature by running them at 70% vs 100%. These fit perfectly on my Asus ROG Strix X670E-F motherboard and were easy to install. I used the thermal pads that came with the coolers and they work just fine but if you're looking for maximum performance I bet replacing the pads with some thermal paste directly on the memory IC's would be good for another 5c or more reduction.

Overall rather good.
Got a crappy nvme SSD and this keeps it nice and cool from 80c+ to 40-50c. Stands a bit tall so if you have extra cards in your system you might find a bit of an issue finding a place for it.

Easy to install and works great!
Awesome high quality cooler! It quietly keeps my M.2 at a crisp 35 deg. Easy to install, and it looks amazing!

Works perfectly
Very simple to install, high quality unit. I have no complaints. My advice to anyone reading this, set the PWM fan to max RPM, you can't even hear it. This product obviously isn't necessary and probably overkill, but it works exactly as advertised.
